Ok, we're not talking about the piece-mealed version on kids' WB of recent years. Has anyone else watched the Japanese series? Wow. Good story line and great characters. There is a lot of feeling put through by this series. The side stories are so touching too. Sakura's grandfather's appearance. How everyone cares for eachother. Even Meilin in the end. This turned out to be more than your average action type series.

I liked CCS. In fact, it was one of the early anime that I started collecting. As a matter of fact, I think my first three anime series were CCS, Gundam Wing, and Evangelion.

Ya know I always wanted to watch that, but I could never find it anywhere reliable for download. I heard it was terrific, which, of course, only makes things worse. Anyone here know a good site?

If CCS is ever released in a box set (or two), I'll get it. But I'm not going to try to hunt down the individual DVDs. I really do want to see it though.

Amazon has all the dvds as a group buy, but it's expensive. Worth it but expensive.

I've watched some of the subtitled episodes. I've really enjoyed it a lot sofar. It's a very cute and sweet series. =)

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see the CCS anime (subs), but I have read the manga series. (and the "sequel" Tsubasa) I must say that the art is pure CLAMP, and I mean that in a great way. The storyline is absolutely adorable too!

x_X; As for what America/WB did to it...ACK!!!

Did you know that they edited out so much, that they were able to take 3 episodes and turn it into one?

But it's all good in the end! I plan on either getting fansubs, or buying the boxed set....once I get a job XD;

The manga is fantastic! They explained everything there, things that weren't even in the sub versions of the anime. Tsubasa is great so far too. Can't wait for the next issue later this month.

Don't be so hasty about lumping America with Nelvana and Kids WB. I think that Americans showed what they thought of the worthless dub with which DVDs they bought.

From what I remember hearing, the uncut sub outsold the dub by a ridiculously huge amount.

I watched the dub. It was ok...I'd like to see the sub version though. The only show I've liked better dubbed than subbed was FLCL.

I hope that I never meet anyone who works for Nelvana (or at least not when they did 'Cardcaptors'), since it is very likely that I will strike them in the face with little to no warning.

Well, maybe not in the face, but you get the idea.
