  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I was thinking of a big loving father running after his daughter in a small park. She obviously was playing tag with him, not once could she catch him. All he had to do was just dodge from side to side and there wouldn't be a time when his daughter could touch him. Then after she would get tired and feign her tiredness. Well, the father wasn't very tired, he walked up to her to check her out. Then TAG! She runs like nuts but takes only 5 seconds for her father to catch her, roll over hugging and kissing her.

Maybe we're a bit the same. God's always seems to be within touch but we're just never close to try to compare to Him. Then when we're trying to get away from Him and His big plans, God seems to catch up to us instantly (well, in His timeframe anyway :)). There's absolutely no way we can get away from God. He'll be on the next corner to with awesome plans. Why run? :p

When the Lord set his sights on me, I really felt hounded! I was under such conviction, all I could think about was my unworthiness. It was such a relief when I finally let the barriers down and asked Jesus to come and stay. And when I stumble on the path, He's always there to pick me up and point me in the right direction. Philippians Chapter 1 verse 6: "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. " That's good news.

LOL...Reminds me of my eldest. Funny how we always think that our plan is something new!!
