I looked online and tried the command prompt rd /s "\\?\
but the same error message comes up "system cannot find file"

the delete prompt says essentially the same thing with "be sure of
location and try again."

I rebooted, tried safe mode. One video suggested it was a virus.

I am not a computer expert but I would run a virus scan at this point.

So you tried turning it off and on again and it still doesn't work? Darn.

Kidding aside, do you use malwarebytes? Try that. If you still cannot remove it try getting an expert at www.bleepingcomputer.com and they can help you out by helping you remove it manually.

I'm not much into malware removal I always have to get one of their techies to figure it out for me lol. Same with cybersecurity not educated on that. I'm mostly just educated on building computers and general PC repair.

Maybe you tried this:
Right Click on the file, go to Properties and look for the location. (Probably user/OWNER/Desktop or something like that.)
Then use file explorer to go to that location.
Find the file, right click it and hit "delete".

If this doesn't work at least you will get a clue with the error message you recieve.

Just a thought, Check your start up listing see if it is there and regenerates itself every time you reboot
