Can we review authors like David Bercot or Francis Chan, N.T. Wright, A. Stanly?

For the past 3 years, I have been in a study of the early Ekklesia writings, documents and history of the Way from outside sources from 33AD to 125-150AD/CE. I would love to discuss any author in canon or out as to the traditions, rules, rituals, and relics they drag into the practice of following of Jesus by Gentiles today.

If you're looking to discuss how these authors deal with the topic of Christian history, I think this would be a fine place to discuss it.

If you want to discuss these authors in a different way, another forum might be more appropriate.

But the writings you mention from the earliest period of Christian history would be appropriate to discuss.

Maybe, instead of naming a certain person, just start a theology forum thread and present the idea you want to talk about. This way, by not directly naming anyone, you might avoid getting just attempts to defend and justify the person.

I'm familiar with most of the Pre-Nicaean Christians (c.70 AD-325) so I'm capable of discussing the primary sources. I'd say the periods between 150AD-215AD to be my strong point in said area so I'd just be out of your time-frame.

I've loved what I've got from David Bercot and I couldn't recommend him enough and I've listened some of Francis Chan's sermons and I like what I've heard. I also quite like N.T Wright too but I'm unfamiliar with the last chap.
