To be honest MC - the gold doesn't stand out well enough
As shown, I'd say that seems to be almost a grey cross rather than gold.
If you enter "yellow" instead of "gold," you might succeed, especially if it's outlined with a thin black border like the generic "Protestant" icon currently in use.
Here's a Maronite Crossand the Patriarchal Crossfor comparison.
I believe the Maronite cross has three bars across the top resembling to me a pine tree.
I still feel the simplest [ often the plainest ] will be most easily recognised and remembered .
Keeping red will easily identify it as folk are used to the red Jerusalem Cross.
A thought - is anyone else using a red Faith Symbol ?
Not all that Papal either, my Lutheran Church, St. Peter's, has two crossed keys at the very top of the reredos, just under the cross; also has they in an Icon of St. Peter. Thanks your post is appreciated.
I thought about the keys of saint Peter but decided that they are very specific to the papacy, perhaps that would be okay, but in faith icon size the keys would be very hard to make out. It looks like this
