  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Can we fall from grace ?

Jesus DID NOT SAY THAT! It doesn't even kind of look like that In fact he said the opposite! Your basing your assumptions off of Paul's teachings which weren't to the saved it was for phrases and Jews that only follow the law not Jesus

the bible says Jesus came to fulfill the law, that's good enough for me, if the only way to the father is through the son, what did the son come to do for us to make it possible.

Well if you read his words you'll find out ,
Jesus spoke in parables but those were so you an understand them not to confuse you!
Good fruit doesn't come from a bad tree or bad fruit from a good tree.
He gives us faith to believe in his REQUEST to be Perfect as he is perfect. He promise we won't want or desire to sin!
Did he lie

If hearing that the requirement for being acceptable to God is perfection doesn't bury you, then nothing will.

It's not ok to sin! Habitually continually living iniquity puts you out of his hand! Either your for the world or him you can't have both! Jesus shows us by faith we can walk a true pure walk as he promises ?! Is this a lie Paul's the ONLY one who speaks of saved by grace !! THE ONLY ONE ! but remember he is telling law only abiders / Jews and phrases this to help them under stand That with out Christ you can't be perfect spot free! Because we all at one time in are life have fallen short! They weren't buying it in fact the considered it blaspheme to say not by the law cause like you, they misunderstood the teachings! So since your not a Jew and living by the law only Paul's speaking only to them not you! Jesus was speaking to all! When Paul refers to the Gentiles he makes it clear For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, ([bless and do not curse]Hebrews‬ [bless and do not curse]10‬:[bless and do not curse]26‬ KJV)

Peter an actual desiple of Jesus who walked with him

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ([bless and do not curse]2 Peter‬ [bless and do not curse]1‬:[bless and do not curse]4‬ KJV)

This is clearly speaking of sinning
Peter was with Jesus and never says your sins are covered so go and sin??

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
2 Peter‬ [bless and do not curse]2‬:[bless and do not curse]20-22‬ KJV)

Focus on Jesus teachings only until you grow more stronger and you will not be pulled arrayed or confused or mislead by your flesh!

nothing in the bible ever says you are ok go and sin, Why are you assuming anyone under Grace would want to sin.

how under the law can you keep from sin any better than under Grace?

Are you one of those who denies the legitimacy of the Pauline scriptures?

Sinning is the definition of evil doer! Jesus says confess your sin and repent! Turn away from it! He speaks of faith like a mustard seed because he wants you to believe you can be sin free like he is ! If you choose to sin how do you feel guilty for doing something you want willingly ?how can Jesus for give you if you won't stop and ask for forgiveness!? There is only one unforgivable sin

sin in the bible is actually about rebellion, rebelling against God, when you turn from your life and turn to God that is the end of your rebellion, sin, against God.

who wants to sin?
what is willingly sinning?

what if you forget to be forgiven for a sin you commit, will you lose your salvation?

If you sin you should feel guilt and ask for forgiveness but a sinner who lives in sin daily and justify it with " grace " he won't feel guilty and never ask for forgiveness.
I know God is just and knows your true heart!
Practicing sin vs unintentional sin
Jesus promises he will stop the practicing of you confess and repent the unintentional will stop once you've attained true understating = ability to turn from sin and wisdom = fear of God, in you're walk. Ware your spirit leads you not your flesh
