Some interesting research was done in the last fifty or sixty years on out of the body experiences.

Mr. John Ramirez stated that the students of Pastor David Wilkerson knew how to
cover themselves with prayer so that he could not mess with them!

This could be very useful information for many churches.

I read a lot about out of the body experiences during the 1990's
so I take his claim very seriously.

that has me wondering if several parts of the temptation of Messiah Yeshua - Jesus may perhaps have take place in the out of the body state??????

I will bold the two sentences that sound like possible out of the body experiences to me.

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

I think so too......

I think that the earthbound realm that Dr. George Ritchie saw in his 1943 near death experience goes a long way toward explaining witchcraft, curses, possession and strange things happening with an Ouija board.

The following is the testimony of George Ritchie's tour of the Earthbound Realm: Then Jesus begins to take Ritchie on a journey through various realms of the afterlife. They fly toward a large city on Earth where they notice a group of assembly-line workers at work. They witnesses the spirit of a woman trying desperately to grab a cigarette from the workers who were oblivious to her presence. This woman had died severely addicted to cigarettes and was now cut off from the one thing she desperately desired most.

Ritchie realizes how the spirits in these realms immediately know the thoughts of other spirits around them. This is the reason they tend to group together with other spirits. It is too threatening to be around others who knew and disagreed with their thoughts.

Jesus leads Ritchie to a house somewhere on Earth where he is shown the spirit of a young man following his living family members around and begging them for forgiveness. But the family members are completely unaware of his presence. Jesus tells Ritchie the young man committed suicide and is "chained to every consequence of his act."

They then traveled to a bar somewhere on Earth which was filled with sailors drinking heavily. Spirits surrounded the sailors as they tried desperately, and in vain, to grasp the shot glasses to get a drink. Other spirits tried to control the sailors' alcoholic behavior. Ritchie learns these are the spirits of people who died still having a severe alcoholic addiction which went beyond the physical. He is bewildered as he observes one of the sailors passing out causing the sailor's protective aura surrounding him to crack open. When it does, it allows a spirit to scramble into the sailor's unconscious body. This scene was repeated over and over.

you would be correct....

... the problem is that we lack faith and the boldness to ask for a hedge of protection around our bodies, our homes, our churches and even our communities and around our nation.

I learned how to do it myself.

Scientists induce out-of-body experiences in the laboratory
There is one part of your brain that orients "where" you are.
The reason for this is that your eyes invert everything you see.
So you see everything upside down. Then this part of your brain
reorients you to right side up, and left and right.

Yes. It is possible. It's a tragedy that so few know that we really are in a war. That's partly why we have the armour of God, to protect us from Satan's attacks. Those attacks can be in initiated by those in the occult. Many missionaries know this well. I know a woman who "prayed" death on her husband. Yes, he died. I've had an out of body experience, just once. That was before I was born again. My take on it is that it is a false experience induced by a demon. (I had occult problems myself).
Out small fellowship weekly stands against what we call soul-prayer. (That is prayer directed directly at someone, not to our heavenly Father in Jesus' name) We also cover ourselves in the blood of Christ, and ask God to cause the Destroyer to pass over us.

Yes....... at least I am thinking that that is the implication of some of what happened with the Prophet Elisha not to mention 2 Corinthians 12
verses two to four.
