It doesn't matter spiritually. Every decision has natural consequences (even when the Bible doesn't speak about a given subject).

IOW, "don't have to" is not the same thing as "won't benefit from."

On the flip side, "will benefit from" can in no way be construed as a mandate. It is a heads-up.

There are two answers to this question, Tone. It's not a yes or no question.

I think, the more you look into this, the more folks you talk to, the more you pray about and study how the early Christians responded to and used food, the more answers and possible solutions you'll find.

It is unclean because the Creator says it's unclean. Now, we know, scientifically, that it is a very unhealthy animal to eat. So, my question is can this science make what has been deemed unclean by God...clean?

Oh, sorry...you believe that the new testament changed unclean to clean. What about science...do you believe that science can do the same?

Where did the Word of God give a pass on the law to anyone that wants to be a child of the Most High God? Could you name a place where The Redeemer Himself, or the Most High God says we can ignore His Laws previously set up by Him?

They explain why pork is unclean in the Levitical laws: because the Pig doesn't chew the cud. If you genetically manipulate one to do so, I don't see why it couldn't be kosher, but then is it really still a pig?

Doesn't matter to us Christians though, unless you are a Messianic Jew.

It can't be kosher because it is genetically modified, and a pig/swine.

If the Most High God tells us to do something, it is a good bet it is perpetually good for us.
