What if the woman has no emotional pain and is proud of her abortion? The sort that shouts their abortion on twitter. If you are talking about a born child,; of course that person is a murderer.
If you are talking about someone killing an unborn human being, I will just treat the mother with kindness so she knows I care about her pain.
Think again, one of the key elements in founding the United States was based on the faith of the founding fathers. Look at your money, it still to this day states "In God we trust". You cannot convince me that morals set by Jesus are not in effect in some laws that are in place today. The ten commandments only recently were removed from the court rooms. I am 31 and old enough to remember them there. The alleged views of Jesus carry zero weight in US law.

Yet they left it out of the founding documents which set up a secular republic.Think again, one of the key elements in founding the United States was based on the faith of the founding fathers.
1956 was quite some time after 1776.Look at your money, it still to this day states "In God we trust".
Yeah, took a while to get the Cecil B. DeMille film merch out of the way.The ten commandments only recently were removed from the court rooms.
I'm older than you, does that give me opinion more weight?I am 31 and old enough to remember them there.
Yes I do:Do you really think women are happy about it and think having an abortion is a victory?
I didn't talk about a woman who was raped, but a woman who was proud of her abortion. You seem to think every woman who has ever had an abortion went through an emotional process. I am willing to grant the majority probably did because of maternal instinct but there are exceptions in human behavior. Some people are unmoved by things which move other people. The reality is no woman likes being put in a position where she needs to think about making that choice. She may be having problems in her life that require thousands of dollars and urgent attention. Maybe she felt ready to raise a child, only to have everything crashing down on her after learning about her pregnancy. You don't know her finances or living situation. You don't know if she is going to school. You don't know if she was raped. You don't know anything about her. So it is your responsibility to treat her with kindness because you don't know if she is one of the very few women who just had an abortion for convenience and is proud of it - if anyone actually does that.
It must be really hard to have lost the coercive arm of the state and shame as tools to enforce your views.Yes I do:
I’m Proud of my Abortion — Shout Your Abortion
Normalizing abortion and elevating safe paths to access, regardless of legality.shoutyourabortion.com

Would you show kindness to woman who was proud of her abortion? Who didn't at all regret it? If the only response to abortion we can offer is kindness and not shame, then it seems all we do is encourage abortion. By removing any stigma abortion has you make it all the more stronger as an institution.
Well the state is one arm someone can appeal to but I would prefer we as Christians simply return to a standard of shame for ourselves. If we aren't even willing to shame women who deliberately get abortions and are proud of it, then we will gradually accept them and embrace them. That's how change in society starts, it begins with tolerance and moves to full on affirmation. It must be really hard to have lost the coercive arm of the state and shame as tools to enforce your views.

You're avoiding my question, again. Should we be kind to such women who are proud of their abortion? Most women who do not regret having abortions say they feel relief, not pride. Do you ever see woman walk on the street announcing they had abortions? Probably not.
What I think is all abortion opponents completely ignore the physical, psychological, and social distress that are directly caused by an unwanted pregnancy or a catastrophic event that forces the pregnant woman to reconsider motherhood.
Um this isn't an age war, i was stating that i remember the ten commandments being in court, is that ok for me to say it or do i have to compete with people older than me.I'm older than you, does that give me opinion more weight?
I'm glad you find joy in someone losing their job. I do not. Good for that judge for sticking to their guns despite losing their job.The Alabama judge who refused to take them off the courtroom wall was fired for that. I loved the article headline: "You shall not have a job."
Yes I do like to see those who think they are above them law removed from the bench.I'm glad you find joy in someone losing their job.
Lord have mercy.I'm sure these people would experience a lot of distress if they chose to kill their child.

So if you lost your job, how would you feel about others gloating over your loss, especially when the result was you standing up for something you believe in?Yes I do like to see those who think they are above them law removed from the bench.
Believing in something reality hard does not entitle a judge to ignore court orders. So if you lost your job, how would you feel about others gloating over your loss, especially when the result was you standing up for something you believe in?

Bodily autonomy for all but the child.Joe Biden explained the difference during his 2020 primary election campaign. He prefers no women get abortions, but as a career politician and presidential candidate, he values what the Constitution says about giving all girls and women the rights to privacy and bodily autonomy.
That is where I am at. If a woman does not need an abortion, I don't want her to get one. But like the current president, I am a patriotic American citizen who believes the government must stay out of every pregnant person's body. What happened to all the federal privacy laws?
I am just trying to discuss abortion in a friendly way. It is fine if some people think abortion is right and other people think it is wrong. What we need is a conversation that does not turn into all people making up those absolutist lies, which are told by both sides at political debates.
I'm sure these people would experience a lot of distress if they chose to kill their child.
