Which is more complex: the worlds fastest supercomputer, the worlds most advanced robotic system, the Space Shuttle, or, an earthworm?

Answer: The earthworm. Nobody knows how to make an earthworm. The DNA and its reproductive system is beyond anything ever created by man.

And therefore.. what?

1. How much more complex is a human compared to an earthworm?

I suppose it depends on how one defines and applies the definition of 'complex.'

2. What would I think of someone if they firmly believed that the Space Shuttle, the supercomputer and the most advanced robotic system was the result of random mindless chance rather than an intelligent designer?

Seeing as how we KNOW that humans did those things, and have evidence for them doing so, I would think that this person needs to get out more.

Honestly, my life has been in pursuit of truth at the expense of everything else. Armed with a pick ax, compass and night-goggles I've covered virtually all ground. Atheism is the only philosophy that when I came to the borders, I laughed and said "That is absurd" and moved on. There's no question that there is some singular consciousness responsible for the experience of reality as we know it. Whatever process and mechanism used to cause an emergent reality, okay; debatable. Is there consciousness/mind behind everything? Not debatable.

I have that very question; I have come to the nearly exact opposite conclusion you have.

Especially considering the fact that there are so many competing and contradictory 'answers' regarding the singular consciousness responsible for the experience of reality as we know it.

And contrary to your very certain conclusion - sorry, it is very debatable.

The analogy stands. If nature can cause chemicals or goo to go to bacteria then nature can build bridges.
