If we are going that route... Humanity will eventualy create worlds and heavens... My G'd is creating all the time... I don't see your G'd creating anything coporeal, he stays right inside of your minds... I think tha the undestanding of wat G'd really is has become blurred by traditions of leading members of religion
Well, you have your mind made up and it is not my job to convince you, just give you something you can seek God about.

Nice chatting with you. Maybe we shall meet again.

Like is not the same as equal.

So easy to test. Create a Heaven and Earth.
The snake and G'd are telling the exact same thing.
The part of Babel, is G'd saying that everything they would set their minds to will be possible... So creating a heaven and earth. Yes eventualy that will be a possibility

Hi,

So in Genesis 11 the author is giving us an explanation on how different languages exists in our world of the living.
It is explained that G'd came down to see this magnificant structure that mankind was building and then the author
writes something very intersting that G'd would have said
"Genesis 11:6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them."
The word impossible is translated from the word batsar.
My point is, humans should be able to mimic G'd in every way except in obtaining eternal life(because that pad was cut off) if we are to be one of mind and speech.

what do you think?
Really?
Humans explore and use material created by God.
They will never make something from nothing. The amount of matter in the universe is constant.
Men will be men with the intelligence God has given them and explore creation, yet remain men.
God is the origin, the source, the beginning and the end.

And, some men will continue to believe they are smarter than they are as did Satan, and be destroyed by the one true God.

"But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

In spiritual union with God . . . God is almighty to change our character to how He is in love. And we are so, in His love . . . in sharing with Him. It is kind of like how a little child can have a cold hand; then you take hold of that poor little cold hand and share your warmth with your child. The child stays warm in union with you.

The child can not do enough things and discipline oneself to mimic how you are warm! - - not as long as that cold hand stays out in the freezing air > no matter what he or she does, that hand out in that cold air will keep getting colder!

However, in union of sharing with you the child's hand is warm.

Like this, we share holiness with God. Being holy has to do with how His love is holy - - not like how selfish humans can love.

And the Bible says God will not give His glory to another. However, in union with Him we can *share* with Him in His glory.

We certainly do not give glory to God while flapping our hands and our mouths out in the cold of this evil world.

God changes us so we are alive in this love. In selfishness of self-seeking sorts of so-called loving, we were love-*dead* . . . not alive in God's love. But now in union with Him we have become alive in His better than human way. Therefore, in God's love we are also sharing in His life which is eternal. So, yes we can be in eternal life now > being shared with us in God's way of love.

You say > about if a child can truly mimic Mommy or Daddy >
Yeah and that will never be so, because it is a different person with different experiences.
But without God we are not right. But in union with Him we share in how He is and feels and loves. We grow and mature in the love personality of Jesus growing in us and sharing this with us . . . sharing how Jesus is all-loving and gentle and kind and able to creatively love any person.

So, we are not just mimicking.
I don't think that G'd created humanity for the soul purpose of whorship to G'd.
Worship has to do with putting God above all else, I would say. I would say we do this by becoming and loving like Jesus so we are pleasing God like Jesus is so pleasing. Plus, by submitting to Him at each moment we put Him above our own selves. And so we can worship, all the time, by pleasing and submitting to Him, in union with Him.

This is the world that was meant to be... This is according to a divine plan
There is a divine plan, but this world is fallen and not the world that God created. It's a world ruled by Satan, though his reign is only for a time and the kingdom of God is available to those who reject the world as it is and hear the voice of the Shepherd calling out.

Humanity was in direct defiance to God’s will. Instead of dispersing and populating the earth, they sought to remain unified in one location and build a structure into the heavens. Confusing their language put a stop to the building of the structure which resulted in the tribalism and eventual migration to other lands. Thus God’s was done.
As far as eternal life, we Christians have that through Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Blessings
Amen, sister.

I think the general idea is that a wholly united humanity could do extraordinary things, not all of which are good. To be united for the good is in the image of the Triune divine, and to be united for evil is demonic and a negation of being/goodness. There's no doubt in my mind, at any rate, that the "Beast" of the apocalyptic writings is a mass of humanity solely interested in serving what is destructive and contrary to being (commonly understood as "self"). We see it all the time in various degrees. There have been many anti-Christs and so on.

I think interpreting this verse as implying that human beings can somehow achieve divine ability on their own is an extrapolation this verse doesn't necessarily support. If anything, I think it is simply implying a concern on God's part that humanity would become obstinate, persevering without obstacle as they innovate in their sin.

The devil tried to entice Adam and Eve to sin with, "you will be like God" (Gen 3:5), and they fell for it. I wouldn't pursue that line of reasoning for a trillion dollars.

Just read it, They became like G'd knowing good and evil. G'd says "Now man has become like one of us, knowing good from evil". Eve's eyes where opened that day. This was all meant to be like this

The idea that humans are able (or should be able) to be like God in every way except one goes well beyond knowing good from evil.

I agree! Humanity is "Becoming" equal to G'd in power, because we are "formed" in the Image of G'd.
Mah Man, look around you, look at history. It is humanity that creates the Temples, the tabernacles we even "Form" life!

I think it is time that people start to look at the scriptures with the lens of the living in mind
