Can Creationists justify not being Flat Earthers?

Both Creationists and Flat Earthers rely on the bible to justify their beliefs. It all depends on which verses are taken literally, and which aren't.

Without a methodology for separating which verses are meant to be taken literally, and which ones aren't, is it illogical for creationists to deny flat earth theory?

The first sentence is not true.

Sure. That's why YOU use the term sun-set and sun rise, to denote how the sun circles your world.
It's only logical to use words that describe your experiences. The surface of the earth spins at 24,000
miles per hour toward and away from the sun. Do you reference your day based on that speed?
Do you consider that you weight less at the equator? Do you write that time moves faster at your
head than your feet?

Hmmm, technically you have a point. Flat Earther's have a lot of evidence other than biblical.

But the bible says both are true., so my original point stands.

This is not true either.

Yes it does. I've posted the biblical argument for a flat earth. Here is the biblical argument for creationism:

And scripture (from Here): for a flat earth

Disregarding the dome, the essential flatness of the earth's surface is required by verses like Daniel 4:10-11. In Daniel, the king “saw a tree of great height at the centre of the earth...reaching with its top to the sky and visible to the earth's farthest bounds.” If the earth were flat, a sufficiently tall tree would be visible to “the earth's farthest bounds,” but this is impossible on a spherical earth. Likewise, in describing the temptation of Jesus by Satan, Matthew 4:8 says, “Once again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world [cosmos] in their glory.” Obviously, this would be possible only if the earth were flat. The same is true of Revelation 1:7: “Behold, he is coming with the clouds! Every eye shall see him...”

Exactly. Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable."

Exactly. Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable."
1 Corinthians 15:58a Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,

Which is it?

Are we supposed to be unmoveable, or are we supposed to be always abounding?

Or can we be both?

How immovable is it?

11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month,
on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the
fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the
sky were opened.

I think Chronicles takes precedence over Corinthians.

Um, I guess completely immovable. Not sure how what happens on the surface of the earth has to do with it being immovable.

No you haven't.
You've only shown that the Bible uses common language,
just as you say sun-rise and sun-set for the sake of convention.

Sun & moon times today, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.
Calculations of sunrise and sunset, moonrise and moonset in U.S.A.

The following quotes all make sense for a flat earth only.

Isaiah 11:12
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.

Revelation 7:1
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (KJV)

Job 38:13
13 That it might take hold of the ENDS OF THE EARTH, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? (KJV)

So.....you being on a globe shaped earth.....how would you describe gathering
your people using the four (or 8) directions you saw them leave in?
You may imagine the earth is 200 feet in diameter, if that helps.

Keep in mind that the earth is 99.98 percent flat.

I'm also thinking it circles the sun. Relatively speaking
it circles more I'm thinking.
