How did I find it so fast? (Yes, I memorized it as a kid, with the reference, but I couldn't remember the reference today to save my life.) I looked it up in the Blueletter Bible. I just typed in "temptation" in the search box, and found it on the list. Fortunately, this search only brought up 15 verses, so I could scan them quickly!

Well God wants to form and shape us through our experiences and trials. He also allows us to have free will so that we aren't just mindless robots. This means that He will allow us to make the wrong choice and fall into temptation.
