Considering Obama's stand on getting vaccinated I feel confidant in assuming that everyone was vaccinated and that everyone had been tested as well.
The party was an outdoor event so that made it even safer especially with the ocean breeze.
I'd feel the same way about Pres. Bush putting on a BBQ on his TX ranch.

Hopefully those walled tents were very well ventilated, for everyone's sakes. From the leaked pictures, it looks like it was quite a bash.

Whoa ....sorry...what the heck....that really sucks. and it's not right.
Apparently those words peaceful protest only means peaceful when they are protecting the their destructive mobs.

That’s extremely messed up. I am very sorry you are going through this. I would strongly, strongly suggest pulling a “real you” presence / persona from social media. It is simply not safe, and our media is now operating exactly like social media in China operates.

I just looked at the article you posted and what I see are open or screened tents. It probably was around 70F and humidity around 85-90%.

Honestly? I don't think that the media or the so-called "experts" know as much as they pretend to know about the virus. I think that they merely pull things out of their rear-ends to keep people from panicking; but one thing I'm not going to do, is follow rules and practices that Barak Hussein Obama is not going to follow at his fabulous sophisticated 60th birthday soiree. If it's good enough for them, then it's good enough for the rest of us.

Oh I quit using social media entirely after that. If what I say on there can get me arrested and potentially charged as a "terrorist" then there's no point in my being on there.

They'll still operate a shadow profile on me even though I deactivated my accounts. I get email from Fakebook and Instagram every day pretty much telling me to come back, but I'm not going to.

The thing is: I'm vaccinated. I wish that I wasn't, because according to the "experts", the vaccine doesn't do anything besides make your symptoms a little less bad if you catch C19. It was a complete waste of a vaccination for me and the sad thing is now I don't have the moral authority to tell people not to take Herr Fauci's jab-- because that would make me a hypocrite.

But I definitely wish that I hadn't gotten it in retrospect. Anything that I have to do to upset the leftists and the democrat party, I'm willing to do. These people are my enemy. They're actively trying to destroy my way of life and destroy the country that I live in, so I feel like defying them is the absolute least I can do.

Yeah, unlicensed people openly carrying firearms to the capital. What could be wrong with that?

Correct, it's just if you have one and you are a felon you are a criminal. If you have a permit to carry, you are a law-abiding citizen within their 2nd amendment rights..

Felons with guns don't care if they're committing a crime, they catch them with them all the time around here. Most of the time, they're more than willing to open fire on law enforcement when it comes down to it, as being killed in a firefight is preferable to going to prison. Happens all the time.

Most of the breath doesn't pass through the mask, it gets blown out the top and sides of masks because of air pressure. Air will always take the path of least resistance.

There used to be a pretty good illustration of this on YouTube until they pulled the video. The guy inhaled smoke from an e-cigarette and then exhaled. And about 70% percent of the smoke exited through the sides and top of the mask with about 30% actually going through the mask.

My friend. The virus travels mostly on droplets, not in "smoke." Cough in your mask and tell us how much you spray your computer screen.

Many people have been wearing outdoor masks in my area, and this started happening again after the Delta variant hit the news and our hospital filled up again. It tends to be seen as the polite thing to do, especially if you are waiting in line near other people. Perhaps this difference accounts for many of us having different views on how risky this party was.

To me, an event tent does not equate to outdoor ventilation, but I am biased because I use those types of tents for temporary hay shelters and my job had one set up in our parking lot for nearly a year. The actual circulation of air in them depends on a lot of factors, so using one for an evening dance party for 200 uninhibited maskless drunk people mingling in social clusters does not seem like a good idea to me in the wake of what is said to be the most transmissible version of COVID we have seen yet. If vaccination kept people from spreading the virus, then this probably wouldn't matter, but that is not the case anymore and the game has changed. Vaccinated people are getting sick. People who beat COVID the first time around are getting sick again. We need to be more careful now.
