Calvinism and Evangelism

don't know if this has already been said, we don't know who God has chosen, so it is the duty of the Christian Church to preach the Gospel without discrimination or prejudice to every person. The ordinary means that God uses to bring His elect to faith in Him is the preaching of the Gospel. If people don't hear the Gospel, they won't be saved. All those who God has chosen will hear the Gospel and believe in Christ.

I'm with you - I know quite a few Calvinists/Reformed folks. They all believe that evangelism is important - that it is something we're called to do.

Just a couple of weeks ago Pastor David challenged us to pray for the opportunity to share the Gospel. He made it clear that that's a prayer God always answers in the affirmative.

IF calvinism is the Gospel, then how come it do so greatly contradict the Gospel, ehhhh?

So then we supplement that prayer with a heartfelt desire that we may recognize those opportunities when they arise and share the truth of the Gospel with boldness of Christ Himself.
