My first story was also The Robots Of Death - in novelisation form, since the series had long since left the air. By the time Chubb was strangled, I was hooked. I then saw The Five Doctors, which confused me utterly and yet delighted me... it's never stopped since then!

I think the story was meant to be a "murder mystery in space" but when I watched it again years later it was pretty obvious who the killer was. They brought out a sequel to Robots of Death in a book called "Corpse marker" set in the same universe where we catch up with the remaining crew and there is another robot conspiracy!

I'm thinking about getting the Kaldor City CDs - aren't they supposed to take place after Robots of Death.

Actually, it doesn't matter. I'm a big Paul Darrow fan.

I just remember having nightmares after watching those episode. That and City of Death!

Ah! The classic Hinchcliffe mystery without multiple suspects! Robots doesn't fare *too* badly - at least in terms of plot, Uvanov seems as likely as Dask until the end of Part Three. It's the fact that his voice, face and even feet are quite clearly recognisable in scenes where he's 'obscured' that makes it all a bit of a worry!

Even better is The Deadly Assassin, which goes to great lengths to hide just who is stalking the Doctor through the Matrix, despite the fact that there are only four major characters alive at this point - and the other three are shown outside discussing events the whole time!

The Deadly Assasin was the first episode I ever saw with the Master. It wasn't until later that I saw the Roger Delgado episodes. And, speaking of mysteries, I enjoyed that episode with Peter Davison that was like an Agatha Christie mystery. I think it was called Black Orchid.

I remember black orchid...Lyssa was the spitting image of some aristocrat apparently if I remember it.

Some interesting news for you...Apparently the British Board of Film Classifcation (BBFC) decided to release the new series with Christopher Eccleston as a 12 certficate as they were concerned about graphic scenes of torture and violence inflicted on...a Dalek!!!...what do you think?

Also in the news the BBC have released three new books continuing the adventures of Rose and The Doctor (didn't I say they would?)

The books are called "Winner takes all", "Clockwise man" and "The moster inside"

I figured they would release some of those books as well. What does everyone think about the new choice for the Doctor?? I don't know much about him since I live in the states.

The site has recently added a TARDIS to the Armour items under Special Items Assorted but there are only 9 left...a snip at 75 blessings! Get them while you can as I dont know if they will do them again.

He is very different from his predecessors...has a northern accent as he says "Lots of planets have a north" gets very emotional but he still saves the world!
