Her name depends on which Romana you mean. During the Key to Time series she was played by Mary Tamm and then she regenerated - an event never clearly explained - and turned into Lalla Ward.

Just watched 'Girl in the Fireplace' again.
Creepy...and sad![]()
John Barrowman did an interview in a local London paper in which he stated that he and David Tennant live in the same building. He prefers Torchwood to Dr Who as the show was written for him apparently.
I watched Doomsday/Army of Ghosts the other night. I find where the Doctor Walks up to the breach and puts his ear to it and we see Rose on the other side crying and then he walks away and we realise that the Doctor is inevitably a lonely traveller.Yes that was a very sad episode. Several times things on Dr. Who have made me feel like crying!![]()
...but only until the next Tardisode!I watched Doomsday/Army of Ghosts the other night. I find where the Doctor Walks up to the breach and puts his ear to it and we see Rose on the other side crying and then he walks away and we realise that the Doctor is inevitably a lonely traveller.
However in The Five Doctors the master is offered a complete new set of regenerations if he helps so the door is open for the Doctor to figure out how to get a new regeneration so it may not be the end of him yet.I think it's debatable as to whether he is the last timelord. Perhaps it is true that he's in his last body as a timelord, but as for the last of the timelords...
I recall him mentioning a son in times past.
