Zem, I borrowed your signature line because it is such a profound verse, and I was trying to share a word with my Charismatic brothers on this very subject. However that word was not very well received and once again my threads locked up, (which is sort of like sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling LALALALALAL, so that you do not have to listen.)

I was surprised, I thought we we're maintaining our comments pretty well, and when I went back to the thread, it was locked. What I think gets them riled is when you try to lump all those church goers as going to the harlot church. It's like a poke in their eye, I go to a wonderful church. It's into Jesus only, and pretty strict teaching. I dont think every church is Apostate, but there again it might be just a difference of opinion, that flies in their face. I can understand that.

OH my goodness, Charles... for a long time I have had a picture in my head of exactly!!! that. Gentilized christianity (and its adherants) sticking fingers in their ears and refusing to hear and learn about the Real Yeshua, His Real faith, the Truth of the WHOLE of the Word and its applicability as a whole to life as a believer. Wowsa. "Lalalalalalalalalalalalaaaaaa, I can't hear you!!!!!" Right on, brother. It's prolific. Now this is not to say that all folks are this way by any means. Many simply need better educating on those presumptions and misunderstandings that so many don't even realize are incorrect, due to the heritage of our gentile belief system and understandings (DH and I were this way). It's the folks who cannot let go of their comfortable, incorrect notions/understandings/beliefs, and instead scream over the voice of reason "LALALALALALALAAAAA"
