With headlines across the world reporting Christians being slaughtered, particularly in Muslim countries at this time, a poster like that is simply fiction and mockery all rolled into one.
"Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance." Article 18, Universal Declaration of Human Rights
Where Christian Persecution is Worst - World Watch List - YouTube
What people fail to realize when they mock Christians in America who are being persecuted now by the faithless and those aligned on an agenda campaign to revoke religious liberty in any number of ways, and strip religious symbolism from the secular community using artificial invocation of the separation clause in the USC, is that all those other countries to date that persecute Christians through imprisonment, murder, mass murder, kidnapping, burning churches, burning people in churches, etc... began that campaign initially with verbal abuse and taunts! Intended to install fear and intimidation.
And then those offenses graduated to physical abuse and murder.
When people laugh at Christians who are in America and are being verbally abused and mocked. Who are being consigned to attack by law when their religious liberties are being persecuted and those aligned with those assaults goad the victims by saying they should realize they are no longer entitled to the 'privilege' of their religious freedom and those actions are proof of that, those are the people in America who are like the terrorists in the other countries who demonstrate the same thing to the Christians there. Only they've graduated from verbal assault and mockery, to physical assault and murder of the Christians.
Anyone, I mean anyone, who tells someone who is being verbally assaulted that they should realize they earned the abuse because they're no longer a privileged class and that's what the abuse is showing them, demonstrates the intellect that exists in those other countries where Christians are being slaughtered and disappeared. Sometimes entire congregations go missing, never to be seen again.
And all that is happening because a terrorist bunch want to send the message that Christians aren't a 'privileged class'. The mistake there is, living as a Christian, meaning breathing while being a Christian, shouldn't be construed as a privilege.
But all that terrorism in other countries that is being exacted against Christians today started with verbal assaults, and laws being passed to marginalize the rights of those Christians. Now, the bloody slaughter and terrorism that follows is just taking that message that says, we don't want you here, to a whole other level.
In other words, your poster is how it starts!
It isn't whining to remind people that Christians have a right to the freedom of their religion. It isn't a privilege! It's a right!
Persecution isn't a label that arrives because we're not getting our way. Implying we're like unto spoiled children. Persecution is being argued when people marginalize our concerns as we opine about a decided agenda that seeks to legally strip our rights, our icons, our prayers, from expression in the secular realm. Intending to send the message that we're entitled to be free in our religion as long as we're not in public!
The first amendment guarantees....those agenda driven anti-Christian bigots LOSE!
They have to. Otherwise, those who don't learn from the slaughter of Christians abroad are condemned to suffer it right here at home!
Physical assault is always preceded by verbal assault!
