"You going to jail now"
It would seem some type of violence occured before he struck her.
"You want to act like a man, you get treated like a man." Seems to support the first assault happened.
I think she slapped him, and he punched her.
Both should face charges. (It was clearly not self defense.)
I do love how she tries to claim he shouldn't have hit her.
"I'm a girl" You hit someone, you should expect to be hit back.
Don't want to get hit? Don't hit.
Don't you love how the "victim's" actions are never caught on video, but when they get a reaction it is very apparent.
Everyone thinks the rule is:
"Never hit a woman"
The whole rule is: "Never hit a woman, unless she hits you first(and you have witnesses)."
Woah, that was a huge punch. But I find it hard to feel sorry for her if she hit him four times and spat on him first. If she started the fight it's unsurprising. That is why you don't start a physical fight with a man.
I suspect the culture of 'A man can't hit a woman' is what allows things like this to happen. It makes 'hard girls' think they can get away with assault without getting into a fight like a man would.
You kind of get the idea she hit him, but you don't see it in the video.Yeah, Cleveland's the closest major city to where I live so it was on the news. She struck him 4 times and spit on him before he finally stopped the bus to take action. If she's hitting the driver when there's others on the bus, she's endangering their lives in my opinion.
Sounds like RTA fired him, but there were police officers who were supporting him stating that it was justified so I don't know if he'll get in legal trouble. There's a good chance a lawyer will take his case for wrongful termination I would imagine.

But she hit him 4 times and spat on him?
Where was this in the video?
This video must have been posted by those wanting to make the driver look bad or someone with an agenda.
You have to look for the different versions of the video, there's one that was close to 5 minutes long that shows the lead-up to the incident.
Yes, the 30 second versions look to only catch the aftermath to stir emotion, much like the Rodney King videos we all saw...they only showed the cops hitting him at the end, and didn't show the prior part where Rodney was asserting his PCP fueled strength and swatting cops off like flies.
Which still didn't justify the beating afterwards.
Yes it does...if you try to peacefully control a situation and the person continues their attack or simply doesn't respond to calm approach, sometimes physical action is required.
Physical action, not a brutal beating. Do you have any sense of humanity at all?
