  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Has anybody here seen a movie called Bug with Ashley Judd?

The movie revolves around an unhinged war veteran who moves in with a lonely woman in a spooky Oklahoma motel room. The line between reality and delusion is blurred as they discover a bug infestation.

This was one movie I regret watching, it was really twisted and sick and also very sad.

Let me know if you have watched it and what you thought about it.

I just recently saw this movie. I actually had the same reaction you did at first. Eventually, I did give some thought to the movie. It was really about how paranoia can be really contagious and someone else's reality can become yours...Ashley Judd really stretched her acting skills in this movie! Her character was vulnerable and weak, so it was not that hard for her to become caught up in the other character's paranoia- which was his reality.

The level of acting in this movie is amazing!
I don't know if the two leads were nominated for best actor and actress but they should have been.
The acting is flawless in this movie with the exception of Harry Connick Jr., he just isn't a believable wife beater.

It's amazing how the two leads progress in their madness and how they stay consistant to each stage.

This movie reminds me of life and how we relate differently to different people.
I wonder if this is the whole point the writer and the director were trying to get across??

I find myself acting different between one uncle to the next.
The older uncle there is this party vibe where we will go to clubs and pick up ladys or go to a strip club.
The other uncle is married and easy going, we would more like play games, basketball, goto the beach type of activities.
This was all years ago when I lived close to them.

I watched this movie twice, I thought it was very well done.
But it's definitly no feel good movie.
