I am afraid that I have no response to this other then to say I do not think it is Jenner's character who is being called into question.
I am sure you do. Take care brinny.
No.
According to the horrific accident that blatantly and needlessly caused a senseless death and was so bad that yet one more (at least) vehicle was involved in and fell prey to Bruce Jenner's criminal negligence and not giving a hoot about it.
That's why i stated Bruce Jenner is in need of a diagnosis.
He should have NEVER gotten the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
How do you know she doesn't give a "hoot"?
I'm curious as to why you continue to refer to Jenner by one chosen name but won't refer to her by her legal name? "Bruce" was actually her middle name. Why one preferred name but not another?
She didn't get it for that.
You seriously would like my opinion?
No problem.
Bruce Jenner is possibly one of the biggest scam artists in history.
How much do you know about what went on behind the scenes of the decision behind who to give the award to?
Because...?
And is that meant to explain why you know she doesn't give a "hoot"?
And why you won't use her legal name, but instead keep using an old preferred nickname?
No I don't, but they publicly stated what it was for and it wasn't for causing a car accident. People who win awards are not necessarily perfect outside the reason why they get the award.
You are entitled to your opinion, of course.
Mine differs.
Perhaps it would behoove you to research the decision regarding granting the award to Bruce Jenner.
On the subject of why Jenner was selected for the Ashe Award, Mandt said, “I think Caitlyn’s decision to publicly come out as a transgender woman and live as Caitlyn Jenner displayed enormous courage and self-acceptance. Bruce Jenner could have easily gone off into the sunset as this American hero and never have dealt with this publicly. Doing so took enormous courage. He was one of the greatest athletes of our time. That is what the Arthur Ashe Courage Award is about, somebody from the athletic community who has done something that transcends sport. One of the biggest platforms the Arthur Ashe Foundation has is educational, and I think in this choice we have the opportunity to educate people about this issue and hopefully change and possibly save some lives. I think that is why it was the right choice.”
Mandt said the process of Jenner being selected was the same as it had been in previous years. She and Schell said there are no finalists or runner-ups for Ashe Award. The final decision on the award was made shortly after Mandt met Jenner, which she said did not happen until early May. Mandt said that the process for vetting the Ashe winner includes meeting with the potential recipient and those close to him or her, as well as consulting with people within the community of the winner, and people from the Ashe Foundation.
Yes, you are free to cast aspersions at people all you want, but don't expect people not to call you on them.
Will I find that they didn't give her the award for getting into a car accident?
Why do you refuse to answer the simple questions I'm asking you?
Have you researched why Bruce Jenner was given the award?
Bruce Jenner is not noble, nor of good character, from what i have seen.
Your opinion differs?
Why?
Please continue researching.
I don't know whether she is a noble person or not. She is trying to help out the trans community now.
I don't believe I have the knowledge of who she is to claim that she is narcissistic, a sociopath, "conflicted feelings about females" including ""female-envy" and/or hatred (misogyny)". I am questioning whether you do either. You seem to have this opinion of her because of reasons you cannot explain.
That's why my opinion differs.
How much research have you even done on who she is and what she does?
And why are you still ignoring my questions?
Your turn. Link me to why that is incorrect. There's a lot of internet out there and I'm not searching all of it for something you cannot even put into words for me.
from what you have read, seen, what can you point out that is noble, altruistic, kind, heroic, compassionate, and the antithesis to selfishness/narcissm?
further research is a good thing in this case.....
otherwise, one might be duped into thinking something is so when it isn't.
Again: her legal name is Caitlyn. Her first name was never "Bruce". It was her middle name. Why do you keep calling her by one preferred name over the legal one?
Her work to improve conditions for trans people.
By the way, you don't have to be the embodiment of the opposite of narcissism to not be a narcissist.
By all means, tell me what I'm missing. I am not going to search the internet if I don't even know what you want me to see.
