Brother in law being transferred back to heart center

Same one I discussed in the last thread. Just got a call from my sister in law because we do not hear anything from anyone in his family. I guess he got up the morning and could not breathe again. He just had that defib/pacemaker in. I can't imagine what the issue is. Again, prayers appreciated.

I thought the devise was supposed to prevent it.
Best wishes and prayers. Not sure why that device would cause his lungs to fill with fluid, but I'm no doctor. Let us know.

Well it's a defib/pacemaker. I know they often need adjustment for a patient's needs to keep the heart funtional. He has not even had it in three weeks. So I question if it is working as it should.
A pacemaker ensures one's heartbeat stays "regular." But again, I'm no doctor, can't say if it acting up might cause such a thing, just seems odd to my unmedically-educated self.
