Women.
Personally, I don't think any one person deserves any more sympathy than any other. I usually feel more sympathy for people I know personally or suffer from situations with which I have personal experience.
For some odd reason, the public has shown an intense interest in the plights of selective strangers. Which does raise the question of which stories deserve to be reported. For every one crime, indiscretion, or ailment reported there are at least a hundred that are not considered newsworthy.
It's not just women. Men as well, have you seen all the magazines marketed towards men.
The reason why women are portrayed the way they are in the media is mainly to appeal to men. And maybe satisfy some male fantasy.
And men are not also portrayed in that way. Who do you prefer Johnny Deep or Brad Pitt?
Women are insanely competive about their body with other women. It is in such a way that alot of men think you are mad.
No, men are not portrayed as sexual objects. Not like women are, unless you want to point a time where men in music videos are dressed in revealing clothing.
That last statement reeks of sexism.
At one point and time, the harsh realities of life included slavery, child labor, discrimination based of skin color or dominate hand, and/or almost any kind of inequity you can think of. Good thing for us someone did face it, didn't like it, and changed it as opposed to accept.Sex sells. If you're a little limited in talent, then women tend to make up for it in sex appeal. Let's face it, without sex appeal, the likes of Britney wouldn't be famous, and that's the harsh reality of life.

The fact that women across the board are judged by their sex appeal is wrong. I run a corporate sports bar. Want to guess how many overweight female servers I have? Out of a female staff of around 30? I can walk into one of our locations, look around at the wait staff, and tell if there is a female manger on the team. How? The ratio of 'hotties' to 'notties'. And on an all male staff, the attempt to hire an all attractive female wait staff is discussed openly. It is even included on hiring recommendations. The fact that it is not when a female comes on board points pretty strongly in the direction that it is at least tacitly acknowledged as improper. But it still happens at almost every store.

I tend to blame the people who watch "E!", read magazines that track the minutes in a celebrity's life and fawn over the latest tragedy like someone driving slowly past a car wreck just to enjoy the carnage.
because women have a predisposition to be interested in socialisation, men have a predisposition towards spatial mathematics. One thing i've noticed is that it only tends to be women and homosexuals who buy these celeb magazines. Why is it that these groups are so fascinated by other peoples lives?
I don't know one straight guy who buys such magazines. Yes, some men buy mens mags, but as far as im aware, these mags don't pay freelance photographers to follow celebrities about.
What´s the cause for women having a predisposition to be interested in socialisation, and men having a predisposition towards spatial mathematics?because women have a predisposition to be interested in socialisation, men have a predisposition towards spatial mathematics.
theor is that in evolutionary terms, men, being the hunters, tend towards specialisation involving tools and spatial relations, while women, being the gatherers, and, when pregnant, limited to less strenuous activities, became the organisers of tribal groups, responsible for organising socialisation, customary and fertility activities. What´s the cause for women having a predisposition to be interested in socialisation, and men having a predisposition towards spatial mathematics?

I am really trying to think of the last time I saw a 50 cent music video where he did wear a shirt.
Again I have to say .
A person is a sexist when they think that the other gender is inferior. Did my statement imply that women are inferior*?
* Keeping in mind that insane focus (i.e. madness) is not restricted to your gender, men are just as crazy.
You generalized women by saying we're all in competition with each other.
50 Cent not wearing a shirt in a music video, even so I don't see him being sexualized. Nor Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt, men aren't sexualized the same way women are.
Of course men are not "sexualized" in the same way women are. There is a really obvious reason for that, it has to do with the fact that men and women differ in some aspects.
Yeah, so what are those "aspects?" Would you like to share a few?
And to answer your previous question, I think I'd go with Johnny Depp. There's something about him.
