Alleged Jan. 6 Rioter Tries to Sell Home on Zillow, Inadvertently Reveals Cache of Explosives: FBI

A former Green Beret and one-time congressional candidate arrested last month for his alleged participation in the Capitol riot was illegally stockpiling explosives prior to being jailed on charges related to the Jan. 6 pro-Trump siege, according to an FBI search warrant filed Friday in Washington, D.C. federal court. When federal agents searched 47-year-old Jeremy Brown’s Florida home in October, they reported finding a short-barrel rifle, a sawed-off shotgun, more than 8,000 rounds of ammunition, and two hand grenades. But it was a picture included in a sales listing for his house on Zillow that led to his latest troubles.

Brown remains jailed after a judge in October ruled he was a danger to the community.

We have American tourists in Stratford-upon-Avon.

They are easy to pick out from the Japanese because they all look like Jeremy Brown:

Evan Neumann, 48, is facing six felony counts, including assaulting police officers.

Investigators say he was caught on camera inside the US Capitol building wearing a gas mask, while punching and violently pushing police officers.

A Jan. 6 Rioter Crawled Through Swamps to Seek Asylum in Belarus
Evan Neumann, who’s facing five felony charges, appeared on Belarussian TV over the weekend in a segment called “Goodbye, America!”

Evan Neumann, a 48-year-old from California, appeared on Belarusian state TV on Sunday in a segment entitled “Goodbye, America!” in which he blamed Black Lives Matter for ruining the country and denied any wrongdoing in his actions on Jan. 6, calling the charges against him “unfounded.”

Neumann told Belarus 1 TV that he fled the U.S. on advice from a lawyer. He initially flew to Italy in March, before getting a train to Switzerland and then driving to Ukraine via Germany and Poland

Neumann rented an apartment in the Ukrainian city of Zhytomyr for four months, but he claimed in the interview that he was being followed by the Ukrainian secret service, the SBU. [and then crossed illegally into Belarus]

This is not Neumann’s first time in this part of the world. According to the DOJ complaint, citing Neumann’s own Linkedin page, he took part in the Ukrainian Orange Revolution in 2004, which overturned the rigged presidential election of Viktor Yanukovych.

Kind of a regime-change specialist, I guess.

It seems he's adding a sixth felony:

18 U.S. Code § 1073 - Flight to avoid prosecution or giving testimony

Fleeing from justice (5 yr max). Someday the Lukashenko regime in Belarus will fall and a US friendly regime will gladly hand this one over.

Forgive me but some more should be said here. The summer 2020 500+ riots 25 people killed 20 cops killed 1000 cops hurt some for life. Forgive me but I can still see the woman out side her store as two big black men beat her with a long 2x4. No one ran to help just the video recorded. Harris said about those riots it will keep happening and should keep happening. Said that more then once. WHY are we not demanding her to be accountable as they did for Trump about Jan 6th where we watched in congress as they showed that video of president Trump speaking. Where the Dem's left out of that video in congress "go up peacefully". How does that alone not bother us? Out right mislead..

So Jan 6th have we been calling emailing Washington to show the thousands of hours of video they have and the video form some police that had body cams? A woman killed crawling in a window no weapon what so ever. Then for the 1st time since I can remember they didn't share would not share the cop that did it. I told me wife at that time.. I bet hes black. Shouldn't matter yet to the left it did. So for the 1st time they hid that simple fact. That man was called a hero by some. With just that.. I share yet I do not judge at all. I know if she was black and he was white it would still be in the news.. but thats speculation.

Talking still about Jan 6th why not report on all those that lost their jobs or attacked for just being at that rally? I know two older people I know another man.. yeah they just thought.. hey lets got. They are to this day still fighting in court losing all..why? Do we care about them? You know this is not fare..so speak up. I do.

Summer 2020 was not done by president Trump supporters. Black life matters, Antifa and then many others that could be left and right. So please to hear "its worse then 9/11". "Right-wing erupts after Biden declares Jan. 6 “worst attack on democracy since Civil War".

For God so loved the world He gave His only son.. that you Father for what you doing here.. I see it ;)
Perhaps we should simply grant unconditional pardons to all of these January 6 people.

That was in January. What's Mr. Hannity saying in November?

That's not just from January. It's literally from January 6th. All sorts of Republican and conservative "leaders" condemned the attacks that day. Many then changed there tunes afterward. Perhaps it was when they realized the attackers were 100% pure, finely distilled MAGA.

Mr. Hannity was just upset and didn't appreciate the MAGAtude of what was happening to fine American Patriots.

Hey, maybe he'll appreciate what real tyranny is after his Belarus experience.

Two updates:

█████ Shaman Jacob Chansley asks court for sentence below federal guidelines range

Chansley, 34, pleaded guilty to felony obstruction of Congress in early September and faces a minimum of three years in prison. [His lawyer stressed:] his client’s lifelong mental health issues, which he said had led to Chansley’s participation in the attack; his subsequent cooperation with authorities; and his “sincere remorse for his conduct.”

Capitol riot: Judge rejects Trump bid to withhold records
A US judge has ruled a congressional committee investigating the Capitol riot can access some of ex-President Donald Trump's White House records.

"... presidents are not kings, and plaintiff is not president."

The legal battle is likely to wind up at the Supreme Court.

The guilty plea is a wise decision, but an easy one, because - well, he is guilty. Mental health issues are a weak line to take in mitigation, akin to being 'drunk at the time, officer' in my view.

It will take more than historic evidence of past crises. The only question is simply - was he responsible for his actions on January 6th 2021?

Kinzinger said he was “hunkered down” in his office for six hours “with my gun out, prepared to defend against my own party”

He had a firearm in his office? He surely was not expecting the riot, so who did he think he had to protect himself from?

(It is revealing of a certain mindset in America which sees guns as a normal part of the everyday...)

[Scott Fairlamb's] sentence is the longest a rioter has received...

This will strike fear into the hearts of those still awaiting trial.

Here is another case of defence lawyers dragging up irrelevant medical records to try to minimise the sentence. Old lag's motto: 'if you can't do the time don't do the crime'.

(It is revealing of a certain mindset in America which sees guns as a normal part of the everyday...)

A 1967 regulation exempts members of Congress from a federal law banning firearms on the Capitol grounds. The weapons are still prohibited on the floor.

“Members are reminded that pursuant to the firearms regulations that Members received on opening day, firearms are restricted to a members’ office,” reads the SAA memo.

Cawthorn didn’t adhere to that guidance on Jan. 6, telling Smoky Mountain News that when the violent mob breached the Capitol, he had his firearm with him.

“Fortunately, I was armed, so we would have been able to protect ourselves,” Cawthorn told the news site.

The additional security also comes after three House GOP freshmen, Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, have made clear their intention to carry their own firearms wherever they please.
