I was away from this forum for 4 weeks, and you were, too!

I am certain your confidence in Jesus is growing as the number of days increases. I suggest that you get into reading the Bible on a daily basis. You will become even stronger.

I am also certain that SI has become "smaller" to you than before. It used to be a giant like Goliath. But now you see it not as threatening as it used to. That is the nature of all bad habits.

When we are gripped by a bad habit, it seems like a giant. But as we grow in the grace of the Lord, we see clearly how insignificant bad habits really are. They are nothing more than a dirt that can be easily washed away with soap and water.

Sorry I talked too much. I was so excited to read your post. Let us lift our best thanksgiving to Jesus our Lord.

Believers don't look back. Believers don't lose sight of Jesus. Believers don't lose heart for the words of the Bible. That's what matters, not a cut here and a cut there.

What counts is that you have tasted the joy of not cutting for 31 days. Do not sigh. Rather, as you relive the joy, give thanks to the Lord Jesus, as I am giving thanks to Jesus now because of your joy.
