I heard this morning that one of the victims ID the suspect then the public put a name to the face when the pictures were released.

And that is enough to be wanted for questioning.

The fact that one of them started throwing bombs when the police came for him really doesn't support that he was inocent.

What specifically caused them to be wanted for questioning in the first place? Is there video or something that would indicate why? Is there evidence or footage of them throwing bombs?

How quickly do you expect this stuff to be released? The bombing was 4 days ago and the shootout was about 13 hours ago.

Because there's video and images of them in the area, carrying similar backpacks. People who knew them id'd them from the pictures. Their appearance was first described by the guy who was seen all over the news with both of his legs blown off.

Forgot about that one- NPR mentioned this too. Apparently, he woke up from surgery and accurately described these guys.

Two and a half minutes later, the bag exploded, tearing Jeff’s legs apart. A picture of him in a wheelchair, bloodied and ashen, was broadcast around the world as he was rushed to Boston Medical Center. He lost both legs below the knee.

“He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, ‘bag, saw the guy, looked right at me,’” Chris Bauman said yesterday in an interview.

The sweep is happening right in my neighborhood. If they don't find the guy soon, I'll be expecting a visit from the cops.

Stay safe. A bunch of my friends in Watertown already had their houses searched, and more are expecting it. I've got one friend who lives a block north of the Arsenal mall who's had swat on her porch since 1am.

There is a simple solution. Ban backpacks at public events like this. If they want to carry a back pack then they need to have a clear see though plastic one. So people can look to see what is inside of them. My wife had a job once if they wanted to bring a purse or bag to work, then it had to be clear so people could see if they were stealing anything.

My point is it's Muslims doing this usually. Even last week in Iraq, dude blows himself up and kills 55 people.

I would be shocked if it was another group yelling allah akbar and blowing up to kill some infidels, wouldn't you?

But in this case, they didn't because they wanted to get away with it.

And just in the past decade, Christians (and others) have helped to kill ~ 600,000 people in Iraq alone. And this is not taking into account the 200% (?) increase in cancer rates due to WMD (oh, guess it's only WMD if it's Muslims who are alleged to have them). And this is also not taking into account all of the extreme birth defects that occurred due to the depleted uranium.

I would be shocked if any other group besides Christians yelled "For Jesus!!!" and killed Muslims and others in the Holy Land, wouldn't you?

But in this case, they didn't because they wanted to get away with it.

Because you're a mind reader, right? And you KNOW what a person's intentions are.

I wouldn't. I mean, maybe not in America, but these groups have no claim of innocence either. Not by a long shot.

Buddhists - Burma
Hindus - Pakistan, Kashmir, Gujarat
Atheists - Chechnya, Afghanistan, East Turkestan (by Russia & China)

And I just know about these because it involves the massacre of Muslims. I'm sure that they've engaged in other terrible acts against other people/places, I just don't feel the need to look it up.
