So because I don't accept the utterly evidence-bereft assertion that this was an anti-Israel attack, that automatically means that I believe it's a pro-Israel attack?

I notice you didn't actually address my criticism. I'd like to reiterate, for those reading along, that Brookline or possibly Newton - not the Back Bay and certainly not Boylston Street - is where Boston's Jewish population is most densely concentrated. Brookline and Newton are both on the marathon route.

That's not where the bombs went off. They went off at the finish line of the marathon, which is what you would do if the aim was to kill and maim as many people as possible, regardless of their ethnoreligious identity.

Now, look closely at the 4th photo down from the top, the one showing the woman in red on the right with two standing people in yellow tops to her left. (it's the one right before the photo showing a guy being wheeled off in a wheelchair)

Now notice the guy in the background, the one who lost his leg(s)

Compare to other photos. See anything strange?

The people to the left,right and in back of him are all gone, and he looks further away from the woman in red than in the other photos.

I guess the other people around him in the other photos needed more medical attention than him? For losing a leg and having a bone stick out, there doesn't seem to be nearly enough blood either.

And he looks much farther away from the woman in red than in the other photos.

Call these observations "paranoid delusions", I'm just using logic here. Something's off.

I don't know exactly what you're getting at, Joshua. The man with the leg bone sticking out had a tourniquet above the knee. That staunched the bleeding; and once it was in place, he could be passed by for others in more desperate condition.

Perhaps, but was he moved? Or was the lady in red moved? He's further away from her than in the other photos. The lady is also in the relative same position in all the photos (leaning on her left hand/arm) which lends itself to drawing the conclusion that the photos were taken in close time proximity to each other. Perhaps if the Exif data is available for those photos (why would anyone erase it?) we could look.

Edit: I downloaded the photos and checked the Exif data. It's been erased. Interesting.

What was I thinking anyway? You see, when I watch the film Titanic - I KNOW all the people falling off the boat are real. I know this because I see them.

Guess what else I know? Seen that movie Independence Day? Remember all the cool looking Alien spaceships and explosions and people getting killed and taking refuge and all that?

Well, that has to be true as well, because by golly, it sure did look convincing on the movie screen.

Now, those movies are quite a few years old now, and technology in this area is much much better. Much faster to put together. Easy to mix real with unreal.

But see - people's still make mistakes, and occasionally we catch them.

There is nothing - nothing you can watch on the news or television these days that you can trust, just because it looks convincing, or just because some talking heads tell a sad story, or because you "heard", second hand, something that backs up the story, or because "too many people couldn't keep their mouth shut".

It doesn't mean everything seen is untrue. It is simply a matter of forced agnosticism with regards to what media tells us, especially corporate, national media.

If no major governmental policy comes of this, or it is not used in the future to bolster a major governmental policy (such as to further clamp down on individual rights, privacy, or to go to war or whatever)

...then I might lean towards believing what we are being told now.
