Not that it'd surprise me, but can you prove this, apart from posting an image you could have gotten from anywhere?
And even if they were... so what? What does that possibly prove except that Palestinians don't like the US? News Flash! And in other news, water is wet, and fire remains hot...

That those who would celebrate this, are despicable people who do not deserve a single cent of support from any country.

So they're using a 6 year old photo to support their story of Celebrations, and I should believe the rest of the article why????
Like every other news agency on the planet, they know nothing more than the bare basic facts, and are thus trying to pad out a very thin news story with assumption and speculation they think will appeal to their demographic. Its contemptible, yes, but the 24 hour news cycle isn't going to fill itself... thus right leaning news services are strongly implying Islamic extremists, left leaning news agencies are strongly implying domestic terrorism, and the nutters are shrieking about conspiracies. No one actually knows anything yet.

Hello, Rion

I saw nothing of this in either DEBKA or JPost, both pretty good sources from Israel. I believe some similar hype was circulated after the 9/11 event. Israel's enemies have done some horrendous things, but I see no value in made-up stories. I don't know who's been doing these things, but I dare say they're malicious and anti-Jewish.

What DEBKA HAS published is the following:

Saudi terror cell, possibly al Qaeda, behind Boston Marathon bombings. Manhunt for escaped suspect
DEBKAfile Exclusive Analysis April 16, 2013, 7:45 PM (GMT+02:00)

"FBI Special Agent Richard Deslauriers told reporters Tuesday, April 16, that the probe had no leads 18 hours after two explosions blew up at the annual Boston Marathon’s finishing line, killing three people and injuring 176 – 17 critically. debkafile’s counterterrorism sources can disclose however that the investigation has in fact homed in on a suspected terror cell of three Saudi nationals, very possibly tied to Al Qaeda. The flat they share in the Revere, Massachusetts, near Boston, was searched after the questioning of one of the suspects, a Saudi student, who was hospitalized with badly burned hands. One of his flatmates was taken into custody over “visa problems.” A third is on the run. All three hail from a prominent Saudi family belonging to a tribe from the Asir province bordering on Yemen.

"The search for the wanted man led to the grounding of a plane at Logan International Airport Tuesday. The investigation has meanwhile broadened out to places in and outside Boston in a search for the cell’s accomplices..."

-- Saudi terror cell, possibly al Qaeda, behind Boston Marathon bombings. Manhunt for escaped suspect

PS. Notice that "debkafile’s counterterrorism sources" is invoked here, so take it with a grain of salt. Because a prominent Saudi family is involved, though, take American official statements with a grain of salt as well. I notice that the press is still trying to blame this thing on Christians. Typical.

And a quick check on the site seems to indicate it is a one man operation. Most likely based out on New York.

And the picture about handing out treats looks suspiciously like a street vendor giving out samples.

Low, very low.

Elsewhere, Palestinians were dancing in the streets and handing out treats at the news.

Right, and I guess you will say the same of these fine American citizens and the nation they support when they were celebrating the attack of Israel on Palestine in 2009. So now shall Palestinians say that Americans were celebrating the news of the Israeli attack on them?

No0 I would say any country that shoots rockets at civilians got exactly what they deserved is what I would say. Defending oneself is not despicable

I didn't say you did. I just said where I got it from. News programs and sites grab photos all of the time, so I thought nothing of it. At least this one wasn't from a video game.

Thank you for being polite. I'm not familiar with many Israeli news papers or sites. I'll remove the link.

Uh huh. And this is exactly those whom you call terrorists will say about America. You know....Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. They say that America has a foreign policy that supports the killing of non-combatants. Oh....and let's not forget those pesky drones. Since I guess only American lives matter, let's also not forget the 17 year old American kid killed by a U.S. drone. Or the American citizen that was killed by Israelis on international waters on the flotilla that was intended to deliver aid.

And if you say that non-combatants are not targeted, the Palestinians can say the same (that they don't MEAN to hit civilians, but they only have crude rockets and they need to fight back somehow instead of just letting atrocities happen to them).

Hi, Owl

I just came across an article with the pressure cooker story. It looks as though Homeland Security is still trying to blame this on some lone ranger. If that turns out to be true (which I doubt), I wonder if this will be followed up with legislation to ban pressure cookers. ;)
You "wonder"?
.
Do you "wonder" why pressure cookers arent instrumental in 10,000 deaths each year?
