so being born again does mot refer only to Jesus.

I agree also with the altering version, as far as it means we are no longer thinking with our animal nature, our self serving ways, called ways of the flesh, and we have stepped through the looking glass..

This immersion (born again experience) is where we are added to the body of Christ because we were sealed with His Spirit inside.
This is just the start of our Christian walk, there are many more steps beyond this one.

Being born again....starts the believer as "made righteous".

So, the instant God gives you the New Birth..(Born again) "not by water" "but by my SPIRIT sayeth the Lord", then you are as righteous as God.
See, if you were not, then you can't be a Son of God........and the reason God on the Cross is forgiving your sin, is so that its FORGIVEN, by being dealt with by the God man, Jesus The Christ

"God hath made JESUS to be SIN for US"..

= THere goes your sin.....= "Made righteous"..."having become the righteousness of God, in Christ".

You can't be "in Christ" and have any sin.

Jesus on the Cross took care of it 2000 yrs ago.

My born again experience on January 2, 1992 at 3:36 in the morning on the back of a ship was simply amazing, and it was following up the next day by a visitation from The Lord Himself to me. I for one absolutely knows what the "experience" of being born again means.

I just wanted to compliment on what you had posted so far.

I don't think you were really paying attention to what I posted, you gleaned over it.

If you were paying attention, you would have seen how I did compliment you and your post, and then added more to the subject that you didn't cover, such as about the blood of Jesus being applied to our spirits by The Holy Spirit to regenerate us, ie birth us anew as the Greek defines it.

If you want an argument, fine, bring it on pal, I've been here since 2005 and seen quite a few, but we are not really speaking anything opposed to each other, so I don't know how such an argument would proceed.

So, you can get off the "friend" and 'pal" nonsense., and try not to be so sensitive.
And the way i "bring it on" is to post more Threads......as that's what im doing here.
Keep in mind that Nobody was trying to imply that your post was not legit.

The thing is, i use all posts on my Threads to teach., as i told you.
So, if you post theology, i'll take it and add to it, for the benefit of whomever reads it.
Its nothing personal, unless you make it so.
