One of the reasons that I am a former creationist is that there are no honest books or ideas out there in the creationism movement. Can you recommend some books by trustworthy creation scientists?

I believe most of the responses were quite sincere. There are no trustworthy "creation scientists."you have unnecessarily invited sarcasm by your immaturely phrased question, the evolutionary establishment was bound to respond in the juvenile way that they have.
So are youAt least they're predictable.
Gems?? Well, at least Behe's book brings up some interesting questions, if not answers. In any case there are treasure troves of literature relating to the major aspects of the debate. Here are a few gems
-A theory in crisis; Dr M Denton
-Not by chance;Dr L Spetner
-Darwins black box; M. Behe

Is Spetner a creationist? Because Denton and Behe aren't.
This is a really good book. Not a "scientist", but then again, life is not scientific, life is spiritual.

I believe Chapter 1 is available to read. Check it out -- very, very good book. Highly recommended.
I read Evolution a Theory in Crisis by Michael Denton when it first came out. I concluded it was book about molecular biology and evolution written by someone who understood neither. He has apparently changed his tune a bit in Nature's Destiny and could perhaps now be characterized as a theistic evolutionist who accepts a rather extreme version of the fine tunning idea.you have unnecessarily invited sarcasm by your immaturely phrased question, the evolutionary establishment was bound to respond in the juvenile way that they have. Here is an idea from a book. One of the reasons that I am a former creationist is that there are no honest books or ideas out there in the creationism movement.
In college I set out to research and become a "creationist scientist", sadly, in researching the creationist arguments I found too many instances of deception and outright lies to ever trust them again.
you have to be specific.....what exactly was misleading about it?I just read chapter one, and have come to the following conclusions.
1 An excellent piece of work, in the context of indoctrinating and misleading vulnerable people, particularly those who want to be mislead due to their fundamentalist beliefs.
2 An extremely poor piece of work, in the context of evolution, which inadequately explains the concepts of evolution, and barely touches on the vast myriad of information and evidence in favour of microbes to man.
Hello Silvy,Can you recommend some books by trustworthy creation scientists?
Which book? And can you please summarise the relevant points or quote only the important parts because I fvkking don't have the patience to read immense blocks of text not even divided into paragraphs. Anyhow, I don't see how the creation of angels has anything to do with scienceHere is an idea from a book. <way too much unsegmented text>
