No, she is calling out her outrageously ridiculous statements and alliances. There is no evidence at all that Greene is stupid, or that she actually believes all that she says in public.

Boebert is a far right wing politician. I strongly disagree with almost everything that she has done in politics. Greene is another type of politician entirely.

I have no allowable words to describe Greene and her allies.

It’s as if Congress has turned into Representative High (School) and the cool yet poor kids are after the rich popular kids! Tune in next week!

Are you saying that either she’s stupid or a liar? I mean; that’s what it sounds like you are saying.

....and Greene wants to be on the House Oversight Committee (committee's won't be announced until after the House leader vote occurs):

Picture this:

imho, there's ample evidence that would suggest both (at the minimum).

We are in an age where each side defines its own facts.

When a political leader supports conspiracy, or the ideas of conspiracy, we don't use the work "liar". And, besides, it is probably a violation of board rules to call a politician a liar.

Raskin will likely be kicked off the committee by the Speaker.

Boebert was chastened by her near defeat. She thinks backing down to merely Q adjacent is sufficient to look "moderate".
Given her district, that seems a reasonable approach. Aren't a large percentage of Republicans "Q adjacent", supporting some conpsiracy theories?

Raskin will likely be kicked off the committee by the Speaker.
Each party nominates its members to standing committees, then there is a floor election. The Republicans could band together to refuse Raskin his assignment, but it would be purely spite and hyper-partisanship.

Greene was voted out of her assignments 230-199 for anti-Semitic remarks and for her support of violence against Democrats.

Are you suggesting that the voted against Green wasn't hyper-partisan. How many Republicans supported the actions.

If you're saying those things in Public it proves your stupidity whether you agree with it or not.

They're still at it.

I don't know if I can link to it, but apparently Boebert swore at Marjorie after being told, "You need to stop" after the 14th vote for House Speaker. Boebert was one of the 20 Republican holdouts.

The NYPost headline from 1/8/2023 reads "Lauren Boebert accused of swearing at Marjorie Taylor Greene during House speaker vote" for the curious to google.

If you think that Greene is "stupid", I submit that you don't understand the meaning of the word. Ditto for Boebert.

Apparently, I am "stupid" for disagreeing with your views. Such nonsense in common when discussing politics.

I suspect that swearing at a fellow member is not the worst behavior that will occur in this Congress.

I could see the House not wanting Raskin on the Oversight Committee, after leading the effort to impeach Trump.

1) Well I have seen very little from either of those two to suggest an admirable intelligence. Conversely, they have said many things I haven't found overly intelligent; some which I think could NOT be said by a reasonably intelligent person.
I'm curious though: How do you think I am defining the word if I were to use that label for them?

2) I'm not talking about you or alluding to you in any way shape or form. CERTAINLY not for disagreeing with my views. Misunderstandings and such nonsense are ALSO common when discussing politics so make sure you read what I write more carefully I guess.
In regards to the "she's stupid no matter what"...

When MTG suggested that Parkland school shooting, Sandy Hook, or Las Vegas were staged, it didn't matter to me whether she TRULY HONESTLY believed those things in her heart because:
1) Either she DID believe that or
2) She didn't believe that but saw the political value in enflaming others

If 1) your argument is moot but if 2) well, I personally believe that lying and trying to score political points by claiming parents of dead children are lying is best described as not intelligent though I can understand why someone would simply call it "callous" instead.

I mean it's not a intellectual political strategy. There is no high game of Stratego to play, you just huck horse hockey pucks at your opponents eyes.
