black nail color is in!

I love black nail polish. I've been wearing it for years. I usually have at least either my toe nails or finger nails painted black..(or bright green ) I really like black with glitter to.

Wet & Wild black nail polish tends to be the shinest (at least that I've bought recently)

Any suggestions of other companies that have shinier black nail polish would be appreciated.

I have black on right now. It is NYC and I am very happy with it. I don't even have a top coat on and it is very shiny and durable. After 2 days I don't have the tiniest chip.

MAC nailpolishes are wonderful.

I never need a base or top coat because this polish is shiny and doesn't chip as easily. It's awesome!

Let's see now... I'm currently using Constance Carroll Diamond Gloss in Ebony... Looks FANTASTIC! Only 1 coat and it's as black as black gets. I haven't had any major problems with chipping either. I would definately reccomend it!

Today i purchased the "Sephora" black nailpolish. It's extremly shiny even without a top coat. Actully, this beats Mac's nail polish so far. Lets see how long this lasts on my nails without chipping.

don't like black nail polish it's too goth or punk for me i prefer classy and professional or put together. i like red or nude usually goes with everything or i have a brown that's great it's just more me. plus my nails are long and that really wouldn't look good on me.

My friend gave me some as kind of an inside joke. I wear it, but not by itself, usually I alternate pink/black or something like that. I like bright colors, and it's a little dark for me.

Everyone thinks my nails are fake too. I let them go a little long and give myself a cute french manicure.

People start pulling on my nail, tugging on it going "is it fake?" and i'm standing there screaming in pain, lols.

Black nailpolish on me doesn't look that bad, so that's why i don't disregard it, althought i'm a hot pink polish girl.
