  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I've noticed that Satanists are more "out" than ever. They're even saying that aspects of the Affordable Care Act are against their religion and are protesting that.

From article: The Satanic Temple — a faith community that describes itself as facilitating “the communication and mobilization of politically aware Satanists, secularists, and advocates for individual liberty” — has launched a new campaign seeking a religious exemption to certain anti-abortion laws that attempt to dissuade women from ending a pregnancy. The group says they have deeply held beliefs about bodily autonomy and scientific accuracy, and those beliefs are violated by state-level “informed consent” laws that rely on misleading information about abortion risks.

How is that possible?

They're saying that those pamphlets where abortion is described to the woman seeking abortion is against their religion. I'm not sure how that's possible and if insurance from the ACA pays for that anyway.

Have they said how it's against their religion? I think it's just like how their "Black Mass" is intended to be a mockery our Mass. Their so-called "religious objection" to the ACA is another attempt to mock us.

Give me a break!!! What religion??? Didn't their leader show up on TV a month ago saying that they do not believe in higher authority, and that this is their way of showing it? Well excuse me!!! Religion is believing in a higher authority beyond explanation (most of the time). Still it is about higher authority. So how can they claim that they should have freedom of practicing their religion when their leader (or representative) admitted himself of not belonging to any religion. How can this not be seen as an attack on Christianity?

I still pray that Jesus would stop this nonsense and open their hearts to the Truth.

Satanism is a joke, a farce. Satan laughs in our faces and gains followers every time a woman walks into an abortion clinic or a couple decides to cohabitate rather than marry. Satan laughs when we go to war for no reason or that first time we try meth. He gets into your heart when you say, "I'm not religious, I'm spiritual!" He gains access to your soul when you decide to sleep around or refuse to forgive your neighbor. Satan marches at LGBT parades with his own sense of pride. He lives through the lyrics of Beyoncé and the actions of "role models" like Justin Beiber and Lindsey Lohan. His voice can be heard trying to dehumanize women through porn and hip-hop/rap music. He acts through presidents invading countries or legislating "gay marriage." He works in our education system pushing religion to the side and teaching kids they're going to "hook up" anyway, so you might as well wear a condom!

Satan is everywhere in our culture. Like the Black Sabbath song says, "Satan laughing spreads his wings."

Ironically Satan is far more active in our pop culture, the media, in the social immorality and consumer-driven greed and anti-religious culture of America than he is at any "black mass." Satan is far more invigorated and happy rejoicing with glee in the abortion clinics than at this "liturgy."

I agree that Satan is happy to see the spiritual/moral decline of people. But, having been exposed to the occult when I was young, I would say the "black mass" is a very powerful thing. It's a powerful thing for evil, instead of good--but, I wouldn't dismiss it like it's nothing. When you're around stuff like that, you can feel the (negative) spiritual power of Satan--it's very real. Demons can attach themselves to you at events like this (or in other situations, like using the Ouija boards). You have a hard time getting away from them after that. (Not sure about Orthodox religions), but Roman Catholics believe that people can become possessed by Satan or his demons. It's at events like this, that that process can be started.

Gurney, I agree with what you said too, but that doesn't mean we should ignore the issue, cuz if we do it'll soon be bigger and there will be many more souls lost to that type of evil. Can anyone even come back from that? We pray and hope that God would lead them to his way of the truth. Plus we can't have people desecrating the Holy Eucharist and do nothing about it!

When the Devil shows himself it reaffirms that God is real, too.

About 20 years ago and either just before or just after my conversion to Catholicism, I had a dream where I saw large crowds of people exiting from a building. It was like the size of crowds that one would see coming out of a stadium after a football game. In my dream, it was revealed that these people were actually Satanists who were exiting from a satanic worship service. For reasons that only God knows, through this dream I had 20 years ago, God allowed me to see a brief glimpse into the future to see today's world.

That was a fascinating dream. I feel like they (true Satanists) put a foot in the water by saying their atheist--then will reveal themselves as true Satan worshipers. The permit pulled to try to do this event (in Oklahoma), was pulled by a person who is truly a devil worshiper. The 'church' is called Dakhma of Angra Mainyu. It's a devil worshiping group that uses terminology from the ancient Iranian religion of Zoroastrianism (but, Zoroastrianism is not Satanic).

Interesting dream. Yes God is real and sometimes he sends us signs through dreams.

God bless you brother :)

Actually, I just remembered that it was the last part of the same dream I had where I saw a vision of Hell. And that happened when I was still dabbling in Wicca just before I decided to do a 180 and convert to Christianity. It actually scared the Hell of of me (literally) and was what first motivated me to start thinking about becoming a Christian. I had been raised by an agnostic mother. The dream began with a porno actor who spontaneously combusted into flames while in the middle of the sex act while filming a porno. He started to scream in agony as he burst into flames. Then I was in some kind of pitch black place where I heard howls, moaning, and other things that sounded wicked. Then came the part where I saw people in large crowds exiting from a building where they had been worshiping the Devil. And they looked like average people.
