Once again, someone opens fire on harmless individuals. However, the narrative changes once again when the shooter is black and his victims are white. CNN decides not to mention the races of those involved this time, unlike when they reported an incident where the races of those involved was the other way around. It would seem that race is only a factor when white people shoot black people. Both articles by CNN:

Reuters isn't much better. They did a report about "white man shoots black teen" story, but didn't seem interested in reporting on the black man shooting his 6 year old neighbor and her parents:

And then there's CBS doing no better than CNN:

Finally, let's see how ABC News handled reporting the two incidents:

And yet the MSM still questions why we have such a racial divide in this country, yet they fail to recognize their roll in it. Using the narrative that assumes race is only a factor when a white person does wrong against one who is black, but never the other way around is doing nothing to unite us as a country. Perhaps unity isn't what they want.....

Apparently it is such an issue even Fox is caught up in this deceitful practice! Oh when oh when will America learn it is being riven apart by headlines with pertinent details ?!?

With the old man there was no pic at first. So they said "white man".

With the other guy there was a pic right off the bat showing him as black, so no need.

Thats what Ive seen, anyway. But Im not glued to the news 24-7 like some people, so I might have missed some of the crucial minute by minute details that many people feel are necessary to experience a complete life in this modern world..

Only pertinent when it promotes the going narrative.

Fox news is engaged in a narrative of racial division? I think this may be one of the few areas we agree.
If Fox News is the topic you want to focus on, it would be best to start a thread on that topic.

You say the MSM is engaged in racial division. I disagree with your analysis but agree with at least part of your conclusion. Is that not the topic of the thread?

I pointed out 3 examples of how MSM "journalists" routinely promote a narrative of white vs. black racism by making the skin color of those involved in a story the main feature of the subjects. I showed 3 recent examples where a news organization did this (4 if you include Reuters which simply ignored when the shooter was black) when the shooter was white and the person on the receiving end was black, and then showed a comparison to a story just a few days later from the same organization suddenly dropping any reference to skin color when the shooter was black.
Your whataboutism about Fox News is simply a distraction.

What about the victims?, they mentioned the victims race first time but not this time.

I guess because the victims last name was white so no need?

I showed fox new doing the exact same thing. How is that a distraction?

If you take the time to watch the video in the last link, it will show the person who did the shooting and who was shot.

Thank you for showing that NPR (and CNN again) still don't identify the shooter by race as they do when the shooter is white.
That now makes 5 examples of what I was pointing out.

And here's another for number 6. NBC News:

Kansas City Man Charged for Shooting Black Teen Who Went to the Wrong House to Pick Up Siblings Of course, has to mention the guy who was shot is black.

Manhunt underway after neighbor shoots North Carolina father, 6-year-old No mention of the race of the shooter, or the family he shot.

The double-standard is clearly visible within the MSM when it comes to emphasizing when a black person is shot by a white person, but ignoring it when a black person is the shooter.

They included pictures. Do you really have to have the race spelled out other than in a picture?

Agreed - the media is always pushing the race (divisive) narrative.

Also - this is just another felon with a firearm, gun control subscribers must be like, how did he pass a background check ... oh wait.

Why are you so race obsessed?
