I don't expect to be able to afford a new car for quite some time---but even if I did, I have a pair of diagonal wire cutters.

Snip! Problem solved. And if any petty beaurocrat busybody wants to get snotty with me as to why I removed it, for his trouble he will get his own free copy of the Fourth Amendment.

Problem solved unless the Black Box & the Car Computer handshake, and without handshaking the car doesn't run.

Haven't they already declared you have no reasonable expectation of privacy on public roads when talking about putting a tracking device on cars without a warrant?

Not that I don't agree with you it's unconstitutional, but between the power-hungry government and the "people only want privacy if they have something to hide" people it's a very uphill battle against Big Brother.

"people only want privacy if they have something to hide"

Is that why Congress does so many "closed door" legislative sessions? They don't want us to know what they're doing?

Sometimes I wonder when we're going to wise up and start reaching for our pitchforks and fowling pieces, band together, and start descending on Washington with torches and ropes.

"Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends---life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness---it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it."
