Yeah - I'm working through those feelings and dealing with them the best way I know how. It can be hard to pick yourself up and have hope and faith though that some day a man will find me attractive when it seems like I'm always being rejected....BUT I know who I am - I know the type of person I am - and I know that is pretty great...I'm working on the believing I'm beautiful/pretty part but some day I hope to believe that too

Your welcome D. I know what you mean. Those feeling can be very stubborn to get rid of. Until that man comes along, you got me and everyone else here to tell you how pretty you are. The right man will make you feel pretty. You will know that, by how he loves you.

I was telling flnativegrl the other day that I need to stop listening to my opinion of my looks and listen to the opinions of others who care about me...cause I think I'm way to hard on myself and I just can't see myself with a true honest eye - I just seem myself with a critical eye...

Isn't that the truth. It's so hard to truly see ourselves the way others see us and especially the way the Lord sees us. If we could just get a real glimpse of how He sees us - not just read it in the Word but truly get a glimpse in our hearts - I think we would all be blown away and never doubt again that we are fearfully and wonderfully made - each unique and special and with a purpose.

Ok...so I just had another encounter with my ex that has reignited my frustration and bitter and angry feelings....he's just an idiot! He can't see what is staring him in the face!!! I'm just very frustrated and tired of this whole men / women - Mars / Venus thing...it just really sucks...and it's things like this that seriously just frustrate me so much and make me feel like WHAT'S THE POINT!!!!

Yeah, I know how you feel. Do you know that my ex actually told me that I only married him because he was good looking? Once I figured out the truth (that beauty is only skin deep) I was able to accept that he was the one who was left behind, and not me. So, D, him not accepting you just because of looks?? Pleasse!! He is so not worth it! Who does he think he is?

Just tell him you don't have time to be friends and move on. He knows you want more than that, and he's bleedin' ya dry. Stop the insanity. And you want to be in a relationship again....why??? I know mere words don't help, and even chocolate can't conquer your desires for a mate, but these guys have told you that you're not "the one" so why make yourself miserable being "friends" with them at all? And no good has ever come of allowing a root of bitterness to grow in you. You are such a nice person, please don't let that happen. You deserve better!

Why get angry? They are the ones that are losing a good thing. They are the losers. I cant believe that guy said you were not hot. What an idiot. I guess some guys dont know what they have till its to late.
