I wonder if the Birthers have really thought through the consequences of their Obama Derangement Syndrome. First of all anyone with a brain knows Obama was born in Hawaii. However lets just say for the sake of argument he's found to have been born in Kenya.

John McCain and Sarah Palin become President and Vice-President by default right? Wrong. The Constitution specifies that in the event that both the President and Vice-President are rendered unable to discharge the duties of their office (surely illegally occupying the office would qualify) then the Speaker of the House becomes acting President. President Nancy Pelosi? Can you just hear the heads exploding?

The only problem with your hypothetical scenario is that Joe Biden did nothing wrong except run for the vice-Presidency. He'd actually be the one taking over.. but I'm sure head exploding would result either way.

Actually I still think Biden would be disqualified. His election was contingent on Obama winning the electoral college. If it turns out Obama was not lawfully elected then Biden was not lawfully elected either.

I've pointed this out myself, that it would just make Biden president.

Removing Obama would only be a good idea if President and VP elections still went as they originally did, which would have made McCain VP.

Although, a Supreme Court case over whether a VP candidate is his own man or a guy tacked onto the President might be interesting.

If it was as you say 4xbypass, Biden wasn't elected at all. ButIPresidents don't pick VP's after election day but very carefully long before the election. They're both running, the VP is campaigning too and is also responsible for an electoral win. Basically, I think those electoral votes are also Biden's.

I was wondering just where the Arab bit came from and then saw it is one of the poll options.

To give this thread the attention it deserves I'll point out that it should be 'an arab' not 'a arab'. That is the only wrong thing that can be fixed! (I am NOT saying the other things are not wrong, just that it will take direct divine intervention to fix ony of the other wrong things).

Well, I for one am not objecting to the desire to see the birth certificate; I'm objecting to repeated demands for it to be produced when it already has been produced. I object to misinformation, accusation, and ignoring easily-verifiable facts.

Actually it makes perfect sense on Obama's part. Hopefully he is elected to a second term because birthers and other moronic seditious people split the Republican vote.
