It's concerning. On Fox News they're saying this won't be resolved without a major IDF response, and that could be exactly what Iran wants and has prepared years for. This skirmish seems different because it's inception is more personal. Israel and Iran have been provoking each other.

Day 4 of this inevitable conflict, and it slowly continues to spiral further and further into all-out war, which I fear can erupt into a much larger conflict amidst a perfect storm that's formed over the years. Hamas is threatening to broaden the conflict to a larger scale (possibly and almost certainly involving Hezbollah in Lebanon), which I'm sure was planned all along.

Meanwhile Israel is also facing threat of internal conflict, with Jews and Arab in Israeli cities leading to the possibility of civil war. Not only could Israel face war from the southern and northern fronts, but also from within as well. As of now troops, tanks and other military assets are amassing on Gaza's border for the possibility of a ground incursion into Gaza that can occur without warning. Synagogues and Israeli embassies across the world could also be under threat, as was the case recently in Germany days ago.

I can see this becoming a nightmare scenario that leads to war with Iran, Russia and others if this continues to escalate.

Edit: Attacks are also starting to take place in the cyber realm against Israeli websites. That would mean Israel would face war on at least 3 fronts, as well as civil war.

Israeli troops and tanks are now inside Gaza supported by attack helicopters, although not officially reported as an incursion. Hamas attacks - as reported - no longer seem coordinated in volleys, but sporadic and isolated, almost like they're changing tactics. Something strange about this.
