The plane was equipped with extra security as a precaution just encase, as many are obviously not on board with the idea. In the video Kushner mentions that he prayed for Arabs and Muslims throughout the world to watch this flight, recognizing that we are all "children of God", and that the future doesn't have to be predetermined by the past. He also mentions that this is a very hopeful time, and that peace and prosperity is possible in the middle east and throughout the world.
