WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS

So in the last couple of days, we've got American, British, French and German ground forces moving toward the Russian border, and SAM patriot ground to air missile defenses being deployed to Romania.

Last week Russia was deploying mobile intermediate range nuclear missile launchers to Kaliningrad on the border of Lithuania and Poland, and Chinese ground forces began arriving in Syria.

Seems to me like an awful lot of military maneuvering going on here for there being no "imminent" threat of war.. don't you think ?

Based on the movements I'm seeing, I'd be absolutely astonished if U.S. nuclear forces weren't already at DFCON 2 by now..

I wonder what it's going to take to wake Americans up to what is going on in Eastern Europe with NATO and Russia facing off militarily ? I haven't run into one single American yet on the street who has the foggiest idea how close we are to a shooting war with Russia.

Sure they know about Russian computer hacking, because that's all they've seen on television. Aside from that, it's Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.. animal rescue stories and where to buy the coolest Halloween costumes.

Meanwhile SAC bombers are flying to their "fail safe" points awaiting their attack codes and strategic ICBM missile forces are on full alert awaiting their launch codes.

On Saturday Vladimir Putin rejects Russian army's request for resuming air strikes on Aleppo citing the humanitarian crisis in Syria. (PBS World News).

Oddly enough Russia was just kicked off the UN Human Rights Council this week over war crime allegations in Syria, just in case you thought Putin cares anything about civilian casualties, bombing hospitals, or red cross convoys.

Instead of being a humanitarian, I believe Putin is laying the groundwork in the international community for declaring a "No Fly Zone" over Syria.

I looked at the pictures at the link. They have pulled some people from the rubble that were alive but injured. That is quite a bit of damage. I hope there are no deaths, but that report is pending. Prayers for those folks.
