All my siblings are half, one has the same mother (older), at least two have the same father (younger). However, the older sibling with the same mother has an older half brother with the same father.

My family suspects my father has more children out there, but we are not certain. So it will always be a mystery.

Both my parents married twice and my eldest sister died as a baby. That being said, in the house where I grew up I am the middle child, having an older brother and a younger sister. But, I actually have two living brothers and three living sisters. Of those, I am the second eldest.

4 to 6 offspring is nothing. My ggg-grandfather had a total of 27 children. He was married to his first wife when he was 16. She and his second wife died in childbirth. He married a third time and she had his last child when she was 30. He was 94. He died when he was 96.

I have a half-sister who's 15 years my senior, and a younger sister. Even though I'm technically in the middle, I was raised as if I were the oldest because my half-sister was hardly ever around.

That's probably for the best, this planet is wildly overpopulated anyway.
