I remember one time I was setting a trap for a Big Daddy. I set some mines in his path and I left the room. A few minutes later I heard the Little Sister go "Look Mr. Bubbles!", then I heard "POW!". Haha! It was so hilarious."Mr. Bubbles!"
Most of the time I just set up a line of traps and go in full force. I'm just that way. Tank them and try my best to destroy them. Like I said, I'll usually lay out traps and then go in for the kill with my upgraded shotgun and machine gun. Sometimes I use plasmids in areas where it might do major damage. For instance, when standing in water I shock them, or if in gasoline, I'll set the aflame. I also like using things like Decoy and Enrage just to make it easier on my part. What's your favorite way of handling the Big Daddies? Proxy mines, grenades, electric shot are all fun and all, but weird things can be neat, too. I'm playing on easy cause I haven't played a shooter since Doom 2 was the shooter to play, and frankly, it's too easy, so on one big daddy I decided to see how it'd go if I tried to wrench him down with my unimproved wrench skill. When I revived at the vita chamber I decided to go by more traditional routes. I like chucking gas cylinders at them, though, or anything else in my way for that matter. Kabooms are fun.
Beat it?I believe Gears of War was also a high rated game, I don't know if Bioshock tied or beat it.
GameRankings.com puts Bioshock's aggregate score at 96.1%, making it the fourth best-reviewed game ever. Gears of War isn't even on the Top 10.Define "crushed"
Gears of War - 94% (First to get a 10 in OXM history)
Bioshock - 96.2%
Both were as of last night when I checked. Might change as more reviews are added for Bioshock. (Personally gave it a 4.5, which moves the overall rating to a 96.1999%)
Oh! The site is extremely reliable. It holds all gaming reviews from every website and magazine. But how reliable is the site? LOL. Gears of War is a good game, and won all the categories it was in in GPhoria, I think.
That's because it was a weak year so far and Gears was the best. Which is sad because it wasn't all that great IMO. Good story, but once you're through, you're through. Had no interest in multiplayer, but that's just because I rarely go into MP.But how reliable is the site? LOL. Gears of War is a good game, and won all the categories it was in in GPhoria, I think.
And yet the world continues to turn (and Bioshock continues to sell like hotcakes) despite your rather naive opinion on what "taking the Lord's name in vain" actually means. Who would've thought?Bioshock is a "mature" game, thus being exceedingly violent, laden with absurd amounts or profanity including the incredibly offensive use of our Lord's name in vain. If not for the use of our Lord's name in vain, I would probably try it out. Otherwise, if the developers want to blaspheme the name of God just because they do not believe in him, that is fine, just do not put it into your game!
