Great video clip explaining why the 0.001% wealthiest want open borders and endless immigration

I'm not really a fan of Rubin, I don't watch the Rubin Report (the few times I've seen it, it appears to be 90% grandstanding and 10% substance) but this short clip nails it.

As we've seen the gross expansion of human trafficking organizations in the US under Biden (more illegal immigrants entered in the last 3 years than under Trump and Obama combined) we've also seen widespread growth in child labor.

Not every job can be exported to China or India. The corporations that fund elections demand cheap labor be let into the country.

Otherwise, they would face "wage pressure" which is corpo-speak for "we might have to pay people a living decent wage".

This was part of Bernie Sanders' campaign into 2016 (changed in his 2020 campaign because Democrats effectively convinced their voter base that deportation of illegals is "racist" and "xenophobic"). Biden had immediately ceased basically 95% of deportation the first month in office. ICE had effectively been told to stand down.

This is why the gap between the wealthy and poor always increases. Even Obama understood that the endless illegal immigration kept communities poor.

Jobs no one wants are unwanted because they pay so little....which they can do....because of illegal immigration. The middle class shrinks, and even low skill or jobs that require moderate training lose pay. Why? Because they end up flooded with people who would have been able to make a living in those jobs nobody wants. Plus they need not pay those low skilled jobs much because they know those workers have no ability to switch jobs.

Thoughts?

Anyone wondering why the Democratic Party swapped positions and now fights against the middle class, the answer is rather simple. Trump was essentially a 1 position candidate in 2016. He ran on the idea that there was an illegal immigration crisis (true) and that we should prevent people from entering illegally and deport those here illegally now.

Democratic candidates took the opposing position, that no crisis exists (false) and those fleeing their homelands do so for asylum (mostly false). They painted their opponents as motivated by racism and xenophobia.

Now Biden has returned to building the wall....as those suffering most (apart from border states) are those in liberal stronghold cities most devastated by covid shutdowns and failed criminal justice reforms, rampant homelessness and drug addiction, and the death of small business. The minority voters who they now depend upon for votes by fearmongering over "white supremacy" and "Christian nationalists" are either unmotivated to show up for the Democrats who have failed them or defecting completely.

So....thoughts?
