Olives should all be punished for existing at all by becomming olive oil. They are disgusting little round things and oughtn't survive as such.

Sigh. I could go into a loooong discussion for both agreeing and disagreeing. That being said, the Cosby Show did change a great deal of the roles minorities have on television with both adults being black and having jobs that are typically considered "well off" (doctor and lawyer). You can also look at The Fresh Prince with the Judge and being wealthy. However, at the same time, those are considered in the minority of how minorities are placed on television.

I do believe this is slightly changing today as people are being cast in roles that on paper are pretty much raceless. So while The OC is all white save an ex girlfriend who lied about being pregnant (not usually a good thing haha), TV shows are having more characters of more races. Perhaps it is simply the nature of the show, but one good example is Lost. There are several races represented on the show by both actors and the characters stories.

Grey's Anatomy also has a few main characters that aren't white, characters that are in positioins of power too.

And that is just looking at races and not sexuality, religion, or any other basis on which one might be considered a minority.

So yes, I think there are stereotypes in the characters that minority actors play. However, I don't know that they necessarily discriminate against them. The use of stereotypes is used in many groups as a way to identify a character more easily so as to not need the time to develop characters more fully. It is a lazy way of establishing who characters are, but allows more time for the rest of a plotline.

Depends. If I'm the culprit, SBD because it blindsides people. If someone else does it, I'd rather they let rip a loudy one because those make me laugh too.

One of my good friends told me he and his younger brother would do the SBDs and suck them in and blow them on each other after they have cooked sufficiently. I couldn't do that.

It depends on if you mean littletoe or the toe on the other side of the foot I live on. If the first, nothing as I don't know that littletoe. As for LittleToe, we like to get pedicures together on girls day out.
