  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I had great success out of the Warrior Diet, but I just started another bulk phase a week ago so I've tweaked it into a recomp diet.

Current schedule:

Mon/Wed/Fri- weight training
Tues/Thurs/Sat - cardio (30 mins. each day)

Instead of eating all of my calories in a four hour window, I've spread just the protein out over 6 meals evenly spaced throughout the day. I also now only eat carbs at two of them: the before and after workout meals. (Which, at the present time, is taking place in the morning.)

I never exceed 100 grams of carbs per day.

Why do you look so mad? Shouldn't you be happy with your progress?

Yes, I was planning to walk lastnight, but I wound up watching "Only You" and was bawling at the end and feeling miserable for myself lol. I did go outside and walk a little, but not enough. Was crying the whole time, anyway.

We'll see how today goes.

Welp, I got a tanning package in addition to my gym membership yesterday.... which means that I may actually be slightly darker than a porcelain doll by the wedding. :o


What's even more likely is that I'll be quite freckly. I like freckles, they look like summer. :D

So I'm making some bread tonight.

Mostly because I like cooking and want to get good at all of it.

But also because I can dump in some flax, and it'll be super high fiber with no preservatives.

Well, if it's not one thing, it's another.

I had a cold week before last. Then as soon as I start trying to do my diet stuff again, I get food poisoning. This happened Saturday night and all through Sunday.

I'm still recovering...very tired, dehydrated (can't get enough to drink), no appetite, aching. But hey, at least it's a fresh start to my eating habits, right? lol

So let's try this AGAIN.

Breakfast today: Two Powerbars
Lunch will be: A bowl of fruit
Afternoon snack: Soft pretzel
Dinner: Don't know yet

By the by...I've lost eight pounds since we started this thread.

:D

I'm at the same, but it's more like my weight range is fluctuating 3-4 lbs still, but that range is lower.

Oh, and the big news is, I need to go buy more weight plates. I don't have enough. :)
