So does anyone watch this show? Are you looking forward to the new season in July? What do you think the twists will be?

All I've heard is first episode is July 12th.

Just recently I heard they've picked semi-finalists

I find this show thoroughly mindless entertainment - great for summertime.

Okay so apparently they will announce the cast on July 2nd. We'll see.

A poll is going around about would you rather see all new faces, half and half like last season or all stars from past seasons.So what do you guys wanna see?

I didn't like the half and half. I'd like a whole new cast.

I disliked that one in which they brought people's exes back. And then there was the one in which they brought back the annoying young woman from Las Vegas, I think, with the funny laugh.

Hope they come up with an interesting idea.

The cast has been announced. Typical array of pretty people and four returning house guests. However, they are playing for a different prize.

In a series first, four of the most successful players in Big Brother history will return to play their own game -- for their own separate prize. The identities of the four returning players and details surrounding their mission inside the house will be revealed during the season premiere on Thursday, July 12th at 9/8c! At first I thought the "twist' of these four returning players was lame, but then the more I thought of it, it could be interesting. If they have their own prize, maybe their goals are different and I'm sure they'll stir trouble just for kicks, since their eye isn't on the big cash prize.

As long as one of the returning people isn't Rachel or Brendan, I'll watch. I'm beyond sick of seeing them everywhere!

Oh who am I kidding? I'll end up watching even if they're there lol

I didn't like the half and half. I'd like a whole new cast.

I'm getting sick of all these reality shows recycling previous contestants. I'm sure they do it for the ratings which they believe go up with villianess past houseguests. Haven't they had their 15 minutes?

Beyond that, I hope this season proves to be a good diversion from the despressing economy. At least the contestants have "jobs".

Ceticpeace, I so agree with you about Brendan and Rachel. Haven't seen the new BigBrother yet, did it air? I usually watch it on OnDemand. So we know they are bringing back 4. Hope it is not the above mentioned people- yikes!

My take, first HoH fail. Willie made a great move then blew it.

And even thought it's early, I think they should be going for Dan's throat. They "set up" the house with four teams and one of them is the obvious weakest from the start. With the first competition and the first eviction they could get Dan down to one player. He'd be too busy trying to save himself to do anything else.

Is that the "reality" tv show where the camera crew wear night vision goggles and watch them all sleep?

I don't think it's suitable for Christ-like people because you're tempted to phone in to vote people off, which is all based on them picking rat bags during the audition process and using edited footage and back stabbing to make it interesting.

In the end it turned out the way I thought it should have, but they way they got there!

Is anyone keeping up with Dan on Big Brother 14? Is it ok to lie and cheat and be dishonest just to win a game and still call yourself a Christian?

He swore on the bible and on his wedding ring and on his grandfather's necklace and lied to Frank and said he was safe.

Dan lied on the first season he was on and someone called him a Judas. He may play a good strategy game, but as Christians I don't think we should deceive, lie and connive just to win money.

If he needs money that bad he can work for it unless he is too lazy to. I am not judging his soul. I just don't like the way he is playing the game. Never play a friendly game of poker with this guy. Never!

Did Dan actually say he was a Christian? Just curious, 'cuz I've missed a bunch of episodes; basically now I only watch on Thursdays to see who got voted out.
