and then we go back to God telling us there is a Sabbath bc of how He created....

God was speaking to Moses. What would Moses understand a day to mean? Yes, dark and daylight, but equaling 24 hours. Why are we trying to put code in God's mouth when there's no justification from the text itself to do so?

and just wondering--where else in the Bible do we question what a day means? Perhaps Jesus was in the tomb for 3 thousand years! That's God Time babay!

I believe the Big Bang is the best explanation we have scientifically. I just believe that God is the one who formed the mass of energy that exploded. The universe is still expanding, it must of had an original starting point.

I guess the idea presented here is of "light" being a sort of match to ignite the previous existent matter so as to explosively scatter it into our present universe? Do I have that right? I personally accept of a cataclysm and the introduction of light into our universe being related to each other, but think that the order was cataclysm/light and not light/cataclysm. The cataclysm, by this theory, was the sweeping, firey judgement of God upon the rebel angels who then inhabited our universe extensively. When sin first entered the universe God could no longer properly inhabit a sin infected realm and promptly withdrew back into the infinite third heavens. As He departed, this firey judgement fixed upon the non-luminous central orbs of the then orb systems, (now solar systems,) and converted the otherwise non-illuminating central planets permanently into suns. That does put light and explosion together, at least by some fashion.
