I'm sure that happened a lot. It was all over the news how the fence was cut in thousands of places. Right? With Trump's wall it was easier just to cut through it with reciprocating saw available for $79.95 (about 1500 Pesos) at convenient Home Depot locations across norhern Mexico.
But its a start. The rest is up to Congreas and I honestly dont have a lot of hope for them.I would submit to you that scaring everyone away from the border is not the same as securing it. On is temporary, the other long term.
They have been pretty ineffectual to date. Though we as the American public are at least partly to blame with our desire for cheap labor while despising the laborer. But its a start. The rest is up to Congreas and I honestly dont have a lot of hope for them.
Other than the masked rendition squads (which aren't actually at the border) I can't tell what is different. (I'm sure the Texas policy foundation was useful in that twisted defense of FFs.)Democrats, taking them at their word, should be pleased that somehow, without the Democrat border bill, the Trump administration has been able to secure the border. As to fossil fuels, those fuels come from nature, and those fuels keep people from freezing and power the machinery to bring food and water to so many of the poor and hungry of the world.

Bringing in 10 million people in four years wasn't about cheap labor, it was an attempt to seize control and make our country a one-party country.I'm sure Trump's DOJ will be cracking down on US employers of illegal immigrants any day now....

Conspiracy theory forum is that a way ---->Bringing in 10 million people in four years wasn't about cheap labor, it was an attempt to seize control and make our country a one-party country.
I dont think that's true. I dont think we Americans despise the laborer at all. Most of us are laborers. They have been pretty ineffectual to date. Though we as the American public are at least partly to blame with our desire for cheap labor while despising the laborer.
Yeah, I dont see that happening any time soon. From either party. It honestly should be part of a comprehensive program to reform the system in its totality. Neither party has the will to do that.I'm sure Trump's DOJ will be cracking down on US employers of illegal immigrants any day now....
This is good! We all knew that deportations would help lower crime. What happens is the criminals start to realize they have to cut back on how they do things in order to stay out of the light. They will still do criminal things, but not so frequently or violently. Which is good for everyone.IMAGINE THAT: Homicides Are Down 60 Percent in Denver Following ICE Deportations | The Gateway Pundit | by Mike LaChance

I don't see that ICE is making any special effort with workplace enforcement. What I see is a move against those who can work here legally (asylum seekers, refugees, etc.)I dont think that's true. I dont think we Americans despise the laborer at all. Most of us are laborers.
I think both sides of this issue aren't really interested in getting rid of illegal labor. Such as the food industry. But I honestly think is mostly politicians who are the problem. They are scared that if food prices go up becauae we had to pay more for labor then they would be out of a job.
But I've said many times, I'm perfectly fine paying higher costs if it means we get legal labor.

At least Teump is doing something, even though its not going to be enough in the end. Congress needs to act, and I dont see that happening any time soon. No matter who is in charge.

You don't think we despise illegal immigrants? Have you seen how they are treated by segments of our society? Exploited for labor. Vilified as "job stealers" or worse in conservative media? Pandered to and then patronized by liberals. We certainly treat them like we despise them.I dont think that's true. I dont think we Americans despise the laborer at all. Most of us are laborers.

I would be fine paying more as well though I'm guessing we are likely both likely on the "better off" side of the spectrum as far as consumers are concerned. But I've said many times, I'm perfectly fine paying higher costs if it means we get legal labor.
Does the law require all employers to use e-verify? What's the penalty for failing to use it?Trump doesn't need Congress to enforce existing laws. AG Bondi can order a review of x company's employment records at any time.
I dont think they are despised. I think what what they are doing is heavily disliked by people. Those same people would be welcome if they came here legally. You don't think we despise illegal immigrants? Have you seen how they are treated by segments of our society? Exploited for labor. I disagree. Most people haven't got a clue. If you were to ask the average person if they are okay with people being exploited so they can have cheap tomatoes they'd say no.Baloney. The politicians are simply following the will of the people. We want the cheap labor and are willing to look the other way to keep our exploited class. Otherwise we would find our voice to demand that we implement a solution to ensure illegals are not being hired. We all know it would be easy enough to do, we even have the technology in place, we just need to mandate its use.
Totally agree.Still I really want congress to come up with as better solution that would allow migrant workers to come up and work the fields and then return home in a reasonable fashion that would help our farmers.
