" Gender-related hormone therapy before puberty is not needed because testosterone or estrogen would not be present in children before puberty. "

Yeah, because if you can be certain of at least one community not corrupted by money...it's the medical community. I can't imagine why they would jump at a chance to pump your children full of drugs and push them down the road towards a lifetime of multiple surgeries. They'd have to create like....a whole new system of profitable clinics for that.

yes, though it's part of a chart that includes treatment for adults. The comment on surgery is "Typically used in adulthood or case-by-case in adolescence". The document seems to be describing current practice, and not suggesting changes in it. To my knowledge, this description is correct.

I should note that the term adolescence is not synonymous with minors, since adolescence goes beyond age 18.

I doubt I'm Fox's audience but I have no problem with adults seeking whatever treatment they need. I'd probably be ok with 16 years old in some cases.

But I know they don't know what they're talking about. Activism has distorted the scientific community.

Considering the difficulties trans people face in life if they cannot find safety, support, and medical care, Biden's policies are in line with the best evidence-based care.
